  1. If we replicate yesterdays performance, we have every chance in picking up maximum points.

I don’t know what kind of stranglehold that Flitcroft had over all of this. Date I say he was way too involved in picking the team. But it seemed yesterday that the players were playing with freedom and belief. And that energy goes over to the fans as well.

    Now let’s follow it up.

Unbeaten in two now. Win our next game and we can be seen as one of the form teams in the league! Today I saw a team that wanted it. A team that had a striker that has a presence up front at last. A team that remembered how to defend. And while one goal certainly doesn't change my opinion on him, Loft's overall performance does show me what he's capable of. Now he needs to do that much more often. Football fans are fickle. I'm fickle, and then some. Put in effort and score a few goals and you'll get all the praise in the world, even from those who have slagged you off online the most. Hopefully the players and staff can go to work next week and have a bit of a bounce to their step in training. The last two games have given us a chance.

I agree with what you’re saying.

    We now have hope.

We ain’t unbeaten in two though.
Lost 2-0 to Oxford last week.

  3. Loft has done everything right in the build up to his chance. Goalkeeper to beat, 18 yards out, time to set himself, no defender in sight, and yet he can’t hit the target.

Look, I hope he comes good in the 2nd half but it’s a criminal miss at any level of football, never mind being paid 3k a week!

Burton are dreadful. This is a huge 45 minutes. A point is no good. We need all 3.

  4. Moore may not work out.
That’s up for debate when he gets his own squad.
But anyone clamoring to sack him already and keeping quiet on David Flitcroft, seriously needs to give their head a massive wobble.

You get rid of the problem first. Then deal with other potential problems later.

    Flitcroft is a proven problem.

    Get him gone.
    The man is a cancer.

One team always beats the drop when they’ve looked doomed for ages. Let’s hope it is us this year.

I would have hope if we had wing backs in the squad.
I would have hope if we had full backs in the squad.
I would have hope if we legs and quality in the midfield.
I would have hope if our centre backs weren’t atrocious most weeks.
I would have hope if we had wingers who can create.
I would have hope if our top goalscoring striker had more than 3 league goals.
I would have hope if the majority of them weren’t pathetic, no hopers.
I would have hope if we had some sort of quality on the pitch.
I would have hope had we got more than 9 points from our last 48 available at home.

The hope can’t even kill me anymore.

    There is no hope.

I don’t live in blind faith and I will do my part to get rid of the fraud . But for me  supporting a club through thin and thin , this I will do untill I draw my last breath

Been there. Done that. There is more to life.

I’m buying one as I always have since I started work in 1977 , I seen better and I’ve seem worse from  vale sides and this rubbish season won’t deter me

    Nice one.

Unless Flitcroft goes, you will be one of a hardcore 3000. If that.

    This rubbish deters me.
The state of the club going forward deters me.
    The owners delusion deters me.
The players under contract, which is about 85% of them for next season, deter me.

You see, there are only so many people like you. Living in blind faith. Because it’s almost a religion. And whilst I respect that, fans won’t turn up and waste their money on this utter utter garbage.

It’s as bad as it’s ever been.

I would rather chew pins than watch this crap again next season.

Flitcroft stays and gets given another window, expect crowds of 3000.

Flitcroft goes in the next week or so and we can all harmonise again and start to repair this club.

    Blind faith gets you nowhere.

Can someone give me a good reason, why I should buy a Season ticket next year?

    Currently lost the faith....

That depends if you enjoy freezing your nads off, watching us lose to Harrogate, in front of 2376.

    Up to you.

Carol won't sack loverboy...she needs to sell up and continue her affair out of the club

With all respect mate, whoever you are, you have a picture of Bill Bratt as your avatar.

So I’ll probably not take you serious.

His interviews never make much sense to me. I just want him to start laying into the players now, the nicey nicey approach clearly isn’t working.

You know my opinion of Adams in the latter part of his reign but Christ, what I’d give for an old school manager right now who’d call a spade a spade. Can you imagine what his post match interviews would be like if he were in charge right now!

Micky would put them all on the transfer list on the radio and deal with the aftermath indoors.
Sadly we now have a woke club. Full of niceness. Cuddle them all. Pay them great money.

Nobody in that club can raise their voice.
I want my players hurting and fighting each other for the bigger picture.

    What an absolute mess.

  11. If I’m right, when we go into next weeks game we will have won 0 games in 85 days.

As it stands, to have any hope of staying up, we will need to win a minimum 4 games in the 35 days from next Saturday.

    Good luck with that then.

  12. I dare say the majority of those don’t want to be here.
They will probably read comments on here. They will probably listen to the pod. They will probably read the socials. Then they will laugh as they pick up their 2k plus a week.

David Flitcrofts position, as we all know, is untenable.

Carol Shanahan seemingly needs some sort of therapy to snap out of her trance in defending the clown and calling these players “phenomenal”.

Darren Moore has walked into an absolute car crash but I dare say he’s had words with them and they’ve downed tools. It’s all a poor man’s Man Utd situation in that regard.

The football club is a mess.
A mess of the highest order.
The biggest fall off a cliff in 2 years I’ve ever seen in a football club!

Quite frankly, right now, if Carol sacked Flitcroft, if Carol put the club up for sale, if Moore left, and if EVERY single player left, I wouldn’t be upset at any of it.

This is as bad as it’s ever been.

And to be fair Spunk Bucket, it wasn't me who ventured into the arena of <ovf censored> polishing, it was you, which makes me wonder if you've got previous in that area?  How many did you try to polish before you came to the conclusion that it was impossible? Just asking for a friend....

    Like I said…..

    Veey strange chap.

    Lets leave it at that.
    Get some help.

You can actually, but you need to vitrify it first, then it takes a lovely coat of Mr. Sheen and you can put it on your mantelpiece and look at it sparkling and glistening in the sunlight all day long..... Another myth dispatched, and you're welcome.

What a strange chap you are.

Anyone who thinks this is the managers fault is quite frankly delusional.

Pep wouldn’t get a tune out of this crap.
