I really liked DMs answer here - rather than give us the usual tripe about chasing targets and just missing out blah blah blah, couches it with in essence, "whats the fooking point cuz they wont be fooking fit til the end of the fooking season" - which gets us all on board because we have already seen it for our own eyes with big Uche Great fan management - gets us onside, whilst in reality we are still fooking fooked PS I really like DM - big shoes to fill after DC, but he hits a lot of the right notes for me
-
Rory - your luv in with DM is already approaching the levels of RZs bromance with DC πππππ
-
Its just a sound bite to appease us that they are trying - bit like the comedy sketch (sorry DOF interview) where we were so close to signing xxxxx players in the Jan window
-
Looks good BJ - only thing I'd comment on is Lofty - do you think he deserves a place over Wilson given his efforts on Tuesday. Plus, are you not the el presidente of the lucky lofty fan club ππ
-
Well done mate πππ

God you are so miserable π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£ Well if you have got to sit so close, don't make any noise chewing your jellies πππ See you in the Hamil πππ
-
Right now listen up you lot because I'm only saying this once. I'm going in the Hamil on Saturday, I'm sitting in the closest block to the paddock and I'm determined to be miserable. I don't want any screaming kids, singing Corbans or any generally happy people within at least a 20 foot radius of me. Just leave me be so I can be happily miserable on my jack Jones eating my mini eggs and moaning at our 11 "players" parading on our hallowed turf. Thank you π

I will hold my hands up and admit I didn't renew this season due to being buggered about summat rotten with the move from the Bycars to the Hamil (and I was really looking forward to it) - utter farce worthy of Frank Spencer. For me now, and I resonate with some of the other comments, in terms of buying back in with a ST for next season, it comes down to two separate issues: 1. having had a year of being able to pick and choose what I want to do on a Saturday afternoon, it comes down to entertainment - Im sick of watching utter utter utter drivel on the pitch. 2. being fed up with utter bull in terms of press releases, DOF comedy sketches (oh, sorry, I mean Fan Forums) and "naughty boy" letters off the owner (WTF was she thinking). Number 1 on its own I could probs cope with (it is the the vale after all) Number 2 on its own I could probs cope with (after all we have had some bigger Bell@nds in the past) Number 1 coupled with number 2, you know what, I will pass thank you very much The vale have been my team since 1978, but next season Leek Town are getting my money - its a really sad state of affairs - If people have made it through the Smurthwaite era, but are now voting with their feet - something must be REALLY wrong. And for the record, I love each and every one of you beautiful bouncing valiants (even that noisy beggar Corban πππππ)

thanks mate ππππππfans like me π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£

Spunky, could you not see any areas of improvement last night over Saturdays debacle? π

Flipping heck - im beginning to think I am back in happy clapper mode here - Dunna shout at me, but...................................I thought we played as well as we have done for months tonight. More solid at the back - well done on changing the system Pretty quick on the attack - these players are without a doubt trying (yes, I know, very trying π€£π€£) Midfield - mmmmmmmm, still seem to get by-passed easily, but thought Jenson Wier offered a lot going forward Ryan Loft - ran his socks off again - get off his back you lot The match was lost when DJ went off - Connor Grant is no full back, and until DJ went off, he had Azizz (whatever his name was) pretty much under control Two massive home games Sat/Tues and I can well see us getting 4 out of 6 points And no, this isn't even an alcohol induced wave of hysteria Well done to all the Beautiful Bouncing Valiants, hope you have all got home safe (and gone to bed in a sulk) Dont want to comment on off the field, as its beyond a Benny Hill sketch, but well done on the bring a mate for freeπππ but equally a deal for the two matches as well would have been ace for those of us without any mates - 2 matches for 30 spunky spondulas would have been mucho appreciated - might go down the ticket office and put a cheeky bid in
-
Im in with you both Balls Deep BJ - come on Lofty - if he puts himself about like Saturday with some nippy players close around him, I can see some chance coming our way tonight πππ
-
Mate think Ur being a bit hard on yourself - I'd put u at woefully misguided rather than full on insane - but let's see the state of affairs come 10 pm π€£π€£π€£. Enjoy the game πππππ
-
To be honest, even though we have had soundbites about chasing free agents - Im not convinced we are chasing anyone (other than opposition shadows on the pitchπππ )

Ouch ππππππππ There are a few eliquent posts (of which this is one) that in an ideal world would find their way onto auntie carols desktop as counterpoint arguments to the bollocking open letter we received a few days ago πππ It absolutely galls me as a fully paid up member of the HCC that I have to agree with much of the frustration being vented by all you beautiful bouncing valiants 1 nil Away win on Tuesday with lofty to score - you read it here first π₯ -

Did you watch him yesterday ?? even the anti-Loft brigade have praised his work-rate - and he might as well hit em from 40 yards as we haven't got anyone capable of supplying him decent balls anywhere near the penalty area at least you left smudge out of your rant - well done πππ -
