  1. Tempted to play the kids for the rest of the season, already down, budget will be cut for next season, be lucky sell 3500 season tickets, the gate on Tuesday will be what we need to get used to.  The season can't end soon enough, even the dreadful season under Bruno and Brown, we had more fight about us than this lot.

  2. I said a few weeks ago Cheltenham will get out of it and Charlton whilst on a shocking winless run are showing fight the last few games with draws against Bolton and Portsmouth will have too much quality as well.   For me the bottom 3 are gone, we are 7 points off 19th place now, 3 wins off catching them up.  I think it will be one from Burton, Shrewsbury and Cambridge.

  3. Yet another gutless display, not a surprise as these players other than Garrity, Sang and Ripley can do one, no fight at all.  I kept hearing in the build-up, if we get 4 points from these 2 games, we are down and I accepted it the day deadline closed.  People can forget any winnable games we have, we are not going to win them.  We are going down with a wimper and will be playing the likes of Crawley, Colchester and Grimsby again.

Bring a friend for free and we get 6300 home fans, yes we are dreadful and going down but Oldham at home in the National League managed get 12000 against Kidderminster.

Obviously you’re either seriously thick or just a 💩 stirring troll.  Which is it?

Would not call anyone thick on here for wanting a change, I hope she has learnt from some of the mistakes she has made and things get better.  I would vote no for change but if we are relegated which I think will happen and were struggling in league 2 with Flitcroft still overseeing things, I would be worried how supporters will feel towards her.

  5. The worst thing for me is could not be bothered to watch on I-Follow or listen on radio and when I saw that we were 2 nil down did not feel anything, I should be feeling anger, hate losing but all the fight for the club has gone from me at this moment in time.  I resigned myself to going down the moment the transfer window shut, that was when I knew we had given up.

The worry for me is this squad is going to be fighting in league 2 for survival, from this bunch of wasters, I would only keep Ripley, Debrah, Plant, Chislett Ojo and Garrity, beyond that I am struggling and there is no way Chissy or Garrity are staying.

  6. If it is 4 at the back tonight and we lose and play rubbish, can we not have people saying we have to play 3 or 5 at the back as we have been awful for over 12 months with the same formation.  Lets try and give 4 at the back a go, the formation was a concern when Clarke was in charge and him never changing and been carried on ever since.

It'll be a sad state of affairs if results between now and then mean we don't sell out at Derby. Not that I'd blame anybody for keeping their cash in their pocket.

It's not just results that will stop people going, it's the performance levels as well, a lack of fight and hunger there.  I was debating whether go the Reading game on Tuesday but the performance level made it easy, not wasting half a day off work to watch a team showing no desire and no fight apart from a 5 minute spell at the end of the game.  I would never miss a game but missed Exeter, Carlisle and now Tuesday and speaking to a few on the coach, so many regular people who would never miss a game have had enough.

I agree re pragmatism, and that’s exactly what Moore said he’d play to. But irrespective, 3-5-2 hasn’t worked for over 18 months now, and other than the play-offs, arguably longer than that (remember that hideous televised Newport game?) so I don’t feel we’ve really anything to lose by doing something different. I’d go something like:

    Ripley

    Smith-Jesse-Kasper-Yak

    Sang-Ojo-Chiz

    Massey-Wilson-Mighten

That would be my team but Debrah at right back and not Smith.  For me I keep hearing we can't play anything other than 3-5-2, why can't we just give 4 at the back a go and see how it goes, we are losing every week with this 3 at the back.

Carlisle, Fleetwood, Vale and either Shrews or Cheltenham. Fancy Charlton will have a run of 3 or 4 games at some point to pull them out of the mire.

Carlisle, Fleetwood and ourselves are gone, we have no character and fight in that team, Cheltenham have a bucket load of it and will get out of it which will be an amazing achievement after 2 points from the first 12 games.  For me Shrewsbury will join us in league 2 next year.

  10. Dreadful again, listened to Moore on the way back and I must have been to a different game as I thought we were very poor and second best throughout, the better team won and I can't see any way out of this mess.  I think the damage has been done by leaving Crosby in for so long and an appaling January window, even worse than the one under Norman and Brown.  I just keep wondering why I put myself through all this, lack of fight yet again, for me Cheltenham wanted it far more than us and make no mistake they will get out of trouble unlike ourselves.

Even RZ would surely have to admit that Clark has done an amazing job at Cheltenham,  and in L1. Wouldn't he?

More chance of me having a night with Margot Robbie than RZ admitting the great job Clarke has done at Cheltenham and at Vale.

Do the bookies think Reading are getting another points deduction because how are they those odds based on current form and why are Burton shorter than us, if they beat Carlisle at home on Tuesday they probably be 7 clear of us.

  13. Got to start picking up results and quick, 3 away games and we have to win at least 1 of these.  Teams who I thought would struggle a few weeks ago finding form, Burton now 4 points clear of us with Carlisle at home Tuesday, could be 7 behind them after.  Reading now 3 clear have Fleetwood.  What I hate seeing is when you go more than 3 points adrift, that is when it becomes tough, lots of games to go but make no mistake, we are well and truly in a dog fight.

  14. No idea when Plant is back but for me when he is, he has to be played in a forward position either from the start or as a sub, Dippepa is not even close to being ready and feel for him but he is so far off league 1 level.  I thought they would have been better chucking either Smith or Debrah up front  than brining him on.

The penalty decision is absolutely shocking.

Clearly heads it away - his arm is at a funny angle, mind.

Makes up for the stonewaller on Chislett at their place.

Where was the pitch invader to rapturous applause? I thought we didn't stand for contentious penalty decisions.

3 games against Stevenage have resulted in shocking penalty decisions, 2 in our favour and 1 against.  The one in the FA Cup when Uche got that was equally as bad.

He’s a very good keeper as was Scott brown. We would be rock bottom without him.

He's a great shot stopper as was Brown but never commands his area, if we had last year's keepers we would be bottom but as with many keepers we have had he stays rooted, their first goal was his all ball all day long.

  17. Happy with a point after being behind with 30 seconds to go but we need to start winning games and quickly.  Their first goal was down to Ripley, why he is not coming and claiming that ball, I have no idea, it's his ball all day long.  I would like see a replay of the penalty as at the time did not think it was.  Looking at the table I am getting more and more worried and fearing the worst.  I know we got 2 games in hand but if we lose at Peterborough and Charlton beat a poor Lincoln team, with the goal difference in effect we are 4 points off safety.  Team around us are getting results, Reading picked up massively, Cheltenham I don't know why but think they will get out of it, Burton and Exeter win again, Shrewsbury get a draw at Derby.  3 away games and we have to get a win from somewhere.

I’ll tell you one thing, I’d sooner see Nathan Smith up front than Ryan Loft. Especially has Smith also has a better goal scoring record.

No Loft fan and he has been an awful signing so far but in the last 2 games, he has been far better than Wilson who does not seem interested.

  19. Will applaud any new manager when they step out at Vale for the first but if Bonner, for me will be a very cheap uninspiring choice and looks like the kind of bloke who is made to get us back up if we went down.  He just about kept Cambridge up last year by virtue of MK Dons not winning at Burton on the last day and then this year they were falling like anything before they got rid and ever since improved a lot.  Not sure what kind of style of play he is known for but looking at stats from last only bottom 2 scored less, they scored 41 in 46 games and this season 14  goals in 18 games, not sure it would be a good watch.  I have no idea about finances and how bad they are but for me the manager is the most important person at the club and a decent manager helps to attract a better standard of player.
