Not too shabby with a rolling ball. His corners have been embarrassing though

It’s embarrassing in general how bad we are at set pieces. At times we’ve had in the box on corners: Loft, Uche, Garrity, Smith, Debrah and Iacovitti. Very few teams, if any, have the height to combat that. Should have taken more advantage of it.

  2. How anyone could say smith is worst player of the season is a joke. He was crap when being played on the right of the back 3 by Crosby. At the time numerous fans said he couldn’t play there, why Crosby didn’t see this I don’t know.

Wouldn’t make sense to get rid of smith imo. We have far greater problems. Maybe focus on getting rid of and replacing the yak, Jones, Debrah and Lowe first.

The only stat that matters is 0 - 0. They have some very very good players.  I'm not sure that any of our 11 would get on their bench. Listened to the home audio on iplayer going home from the beach prior to kickoff. They are prone to losing games on the counter when all over teams. Think that is the only hope. There is no way we have the players to play this Bolton side off the park.

0-0 isn’t good enough, we have to win.

  4. The prices of the season tickets are good tbf if you look at most other clubs in league 2. The issue we have is the club needs to somehow do something to inspire a bit of belief for next year. How they do that I have no clue. Because currently cheaper than average tickets won’t be enough to entice people to watch the same squad again. I’ll definitely be getting a season ticket as I do every year but the thought of watching these players again truly sickens me.

I hold my hands up . Haven't been able to face it. Missed 6 of last 7 homes. A couple due to health reasons the rest by choice.

Reckon I've spent 2 grand this season ( my choice ). Reading alone was 150 quid for 16 minutes.  I drove to Portsmouth,  Oxford .

The home games have killed me. Simply appalling.

Anyone insinuating the likes of me and others aren't " real " fans need to wind their neck in.

It was actually affecting my whole weekend watching the crap served up.  I'd paid my season ticket money. The club lost nothing by my absence.

Nobody is in a place to judge another person as they don't know their situation.

Don’t see how anyone could blame you. I’ve also easily spent a grand on going home and away, travelling to the likes of Peterborough on a Tuesday night only to watch just utterly boring and depressing football. It wears you down. I’m not going to either of the last two games either, can’t face it anymore for this season.

If Moore had got Ollie and Alfie and even the lad Thomas to some extent i dont think things would be as bad as they are now

Thomas was under utilised. Wasn’t amazing but scored 3 in 15, largely coming on as a sub. Damn sight better than the 1 from uche and 2 from loft.

It wasn't just a purple patch though - there was also the 'purple patch' the season before, playing very well on loan in League 1 for Cambridge. At Blackpool he just wasn't getting the game time, which is why we pulled the plug on his loan.

On paper - and on previous performances - it should have been a good loan move. Clearly it hasn't been, and that is a disappointment.

Technically he’s not that bad, his main issues are he’s too slow and weak as piss. And his decision making is also poor

He's literally said this in one of his first interviews after becoming manager.

Don't forget his job interview was on Zoom as well.

We didn’t even interview anyone else so not sure we can call whatever he had an ‘interview’.

How bad he was or the squad we’ve assembled? Because Moore has done no better with them.

Yes I agree Moore has done no better. But also no worse. And we are going down, hence it’s nonsense to say Crosby would’ve kept us up.

    Completely tactically inept.

    Shocking.

Would Crosby have kept us up.

    Categorically Yes.

I’m not convinced on Moore at all but to say Crosby would’ve kept us up is ludicrous. Think you’re forgetting how bad he was.

Difficult to find a new way of describing a match that highlights the same issues we've seen all season long. The lack of quality in the squad is evident from a defence that lacks organisation and leadership to an attack that trys it's best but has the cutting edge of a blunt spoon. The squad is simply not good enough for League One football and there's not many, if any, who will be playing it next season.

I honestly don’t know if some are good enough for league 2. The Yak and Debrah are dreadful for example.

Just for the record it's my opinion we all like different styles of play and Clarke as a person and his football I didn't like and if your time lines are correct then for the 46 league games that season Clarke record was p 30 W14 D 9 L7 taking 51pts  Crosby's record was P16 W 10 D 3 L 3 taking 33 PTS there for Clarke's points per game was 1.7 and Crosby's was 2.06 so had Clarke finished the season on those stats we wouldn't have needed to beat Exeter because we would already have been about 4 or 5 points outside the play offs so why people keep harping on how good he was really hes no better than Crosby and we all know how that's turned out

Clarke no better than Crosby, I’ve heard it all now. Clown.

I don’t want to go down obviously but the possibility of Moore Resigning is the Best News Possible.

The man is obviously on a higher wage than most managers would want, for being completely out of his depth.

At least under Michael Brown the Players may not have been up to standard but at least they knew what they were doing and looked like they had a Plan.

Moore is so far behind the 8 Ball and other managers it’s almost comical.

Saturday Loft gets Injured in the Warm Up but he doesn’t change him for another body.

You have to make all contingency plans as a Manager.

Second Half them players hadn’t got a clue where to play or what to do, they were like lost sheep.

A Manager with any nous would have reacted straight away to Caldwell’s change of tactics but no, he just stood there.

He has no motivation skills whatsoever, claps the fans when the Team Wins and Disappears straight away when they lose.

I have never had less faith in a Manager at the Vale and the Sooner he goes the Better.

This excuse they aren’t his players only goes so far, we have Regressed under him for perhaps Double or Treble the Wage.

I know this won’t happen but I would Prefer Will Ryder in charge for the last 3 Games.

That’s absolute nonsense, how can you say we looked like we had a plan under Brown. Bloke’s the worst manager I’ve ever seen.

I honestly believe this crop are worse than a 20th place in league 2.

I agree, they were extremely crap but had bottle. Likes of Antony Kay, Joyce, Legge for example, couldn’t ever doubt effort/guts.

Current squad are both extremely crap and gutless.

Agree. Sang just isnt good enough. He’s not good enough for league two. What is mind boggling though, is that when he plays as wingback, its crystal clear to anyone that he can cross (not that we have anyone up front who can head a ball), but he is a liability defensively. So to see Moore put him at centre half on Saturday, two teenage forwards as wingbacks and lightweight midfielder as striker, it was no shock to anyone what the outcome was.

I really do feel sorry for Sang. We signed a central midfielder to play wing back. Ridiculous. He can’t defend and he’s not quick enough to play out wide.

Agree could be better but they are light years ahead of Holland’s. Best pie of the season award goes to Wigan, beautiful stuff. Shame I won’t be tasting it again next year 😭
