First game I missed by choice this season. Far nicer day had than watching the usual dross.

I never understand this. Bring out one of our quicker players to the halfway Line and they will bring out two. So with their keeper back, a guy taking the corner and two marking our speed merchant they will only have 7 In our box instead of 9. Does that make sense or am I being daft?
Makes a lot of sense, it’s so obvious. Add to that realistically how much is the speed merchant going to offer defensively in the box? Mighten for example is not going to be winning any balls or be good at marking, so may as well leave him up as a counter threat.

First step is getting Flitcroft out. Can’t be trusted to recruit again after this season or we’ll end up in the national league.

And to think we let Benning go - to instead play Dan Jones there pumping endless balls straight back to the opposition.

Smith for their first goal is a <ovf censored> disgrace. What the hell is he taking so long for, then instead of clearing it just smashes it straight into their player.

Right I’ve had enough of this. Flitcroft out NOW. I’m not going to any more home games this season. It’s a 2 and a half hour round trip every home game and it’s just not worth it, it’s so boring and incredibly predictable.
Maybe Carol will take notice if attendances keep plummeting and sack him.

I’m also getting sick of them asking us to support the club. The atmosphere against fleetwood was great. As was derby. The Flitcroft chants only come out once it’s clear to fans it’s all over. And rightly so.

Absolute bilge as per. More statements than points this year.

What I’m concerned about is the only correct decision to have been made at the club since carol has joined has been Clarke’s appointment, and that was Flitcroft. Who honestly thinks she won’t make another balls up in appointing a new DOF.

Please dont blame a 16 year old boy for this defeat .
I’m not I’m blaming Flitcroft/the manager. Shouldn’t be playing a 16 year old who’s not ready in our current situation. He was incredibly out of his depth and unfortunately it cost us 2 goals.

Will read up later, but my god that was awful. No shots on target. Shorrock is not the answer at left wing back. Badly at fault for goals 1 and 3. We won’t win a game all season.

No thanks, he can get <ovf censored>.

To be fair it’s a great run. Just a shocking last touch before the finish.
Maybe he’s just low on confidence and is clearly out of forum with no way of getting out of the hole he’s in?
Lofts getting a lot of stick for missing that. But we were still 2-0 up then and should have seen it out. Had we won no one would be bringing this miss up. But we didn’t so it must be Lofts fault.
The first part is but he should take it central and cut across the defender. The defender is still behind him at this point, so he’s either through in a central position, or the defender takes him out and we get a pen/red card/both.

Thanks pal 👍🏻 the ONLY defence I can explain for that effort is he’s getting closed down as he toe pokes it but he has so much time beforehand to get a shot away. He’s just awful 😂
Found another version that shows his full run at goal

Paterson was worse
Massively disagree. He was also garbage but better than Loft. He scored 2 league goals!

You have not seen many then their is more than him who wants his contract ripping up.One from Biddulph one from wigan and the main man himself who is in charge of all football matters for a start.
Wilson been crap lately but better than loft. He’s scored a league goal more recently than October 2022 for a start

Missed by quite a long way as well. First viewing I thought it was a great block! Missed by miles
I sit in the railway so couldn’t tell how far wide it was. Truly dreadful effort.

It was massively disappointing that he didn't hit the target with his one on one.
Mighten broke and he made a great run, and I think we all knew he was gonna get there first ahead of the fleetwood defenders, but the closer he got he visibly froze.
I strongly believe a lot of the abuse and vitriol directed at him has clearly got to him.
It doesn't matter now that he wasn't the signing that many wanted, it also doesn't matter now that he hasn't got a spectacular goalscoring record.
I've observed him working so hard for the cause and often things don't come off for him. He's clearly a confidence player and in the current environment it must be toxic for him.
Until Uche and Wilson get fit, the reality is he's all we have until the end of the season.
I think enough of the <ovf censored> now, he didn't cost us the game with that miss, the garbage tactics second half did
Oh I do agree. I’ve personally never booed him and think it’s incredibly dumb from our fans. Only going to make things worse. And we did lose due to garbage tactics from Moore.
Was just simply amazed at how bad of a finish it was.

His miss for anyone that’s not seen it. To not hit the target is criminal.

Probably completely demotivated after abuse from fans and then getting dropped for a 17-year old by the manager. Whatever slim chance he had of turning around his dismal time here has completely vanished now. A financial black hole, has to go in the summer somehow, even if it's just a subsidized season-long loan to minimise the effect on the wage bill. The new director of football has his work cut out on this one.
He can’t complain about being dropped for Dipepa. Dipepa also been terrible but he was better last night than Loft’s ever been for us.

I did feel bad for him but don’t after tonight. The fans supported him tonight, and he was half arsed and lazy. He’s also awful. And he’s on a fair wedge of money. Needs paying off in the summer as it’s just toxic for both parties.

No point having a striker who can’t score. Any other job if you were this bad you’d get sacked. I do feel sorry for him as he’s out of his depth but it’s very frustrating to watch.
