Totally agree. When Josh Thomas went back and we signed Dipepa, I said that Dipepa would be Thomas's replacement. We almost deserve what we get. Makes me wonder how we managed to convince Moore to come.
-
Whoever, however, got to show doggedness and start playing for the club and its fans.
-
Ripley Sang. Lopata Jesse Mitch Ojo. Garrity Mighten Chis Wilson Loft
-
Lowe at RB? What we'd give for Gibbo! And, dare I say it, Benning at LB.
-
Not sure about Weir as a DCM. Like you say, would go with Gore next to Ojo when fit. What about Walters next to Ojo? Other than that, looks decent. Got to try a back 4.

I wonder why nobody reacted to the ball changing position from the free kick. ie they didn't anticipate it. -

Just watched their goals back. Well.............. First goal - simple. What happened (or didn't happen) to the wall and the positioning of the wall? Third goal - total embarrassment. Win the first header from the keeper's kick. Don't let it bounce. Kids learn that when that are 9/10 years old. The 'defending' after that was from a comedy sketch. Good luck Darren. You are going to need it. -

Christ! That's optimistic! -
Sounds obvious (and Clarkey did it when he first came) but we need to 'shut up shop' for a bit. The aim being: to pick up at least a point and 'maybe' sneak 3. To do this, for me, with the players we've got (which doesn't leave many options & defo. square pegs in round holes in some positions) we've got to stop playing 3 at the back. BUT, swapping, changing systems, players all seems a bit desperate. Which it is. There are plenty of games left and plenty of points available but (like many us) I can't see where they are coming from. We seem to need (for a second season) 4 teams worse than us to stay up. Trouble is, those around us recently seem to be picking up points. Maybe, another team might collapse and fall like a stone. 4 at the back for me. 4 at the back gives us the chance to play enough 'attack minded' players to sneak wins: 433, 4231. But who plays right back/left back ? We only have Clarke. Maybe Sang or Lowe (RB), Grant or Jones (LB). Playing Cheltenham yesterday proved to me that 'whatever' system a team chooses to play, they need players whose natural position is to play in those positions. That's what Darrell Clarke seems to have with his current side, first 11. We don't have natural wing backs (apart from Mitch) so why set up to play wing backs. Whatever league we are in next season, we must have players 'all over the pitch who can play within the desired 'first choice' system. Not the shambles we seem to be left with now.

Don't have the players for this fight. Starting to feel nauseous. -

Not sure we have the players for 4231 then. Shelve that for a bit. -

Don't feel like there will be much change today, in terms of formation, starting 11. Reckon DM will still be observing and analysing etc. So I reckon DM will go: Rips Jesse. Lapata. Jones Ojo Weir Massey. Chis. Grant Loft. Wilson Would like us to go 4231 but will be a few square pegs in round holes Rips Lowe. Jesse. Lapata. Grant/Jones Gore. Ojo Sang. Chis. Mighten Wilson -

There's a social club that is right next to home stand (behind the goal). It has a car park and you can use the bar, they have a few baps, crisps etc. It was quite welcoming when I went the last time. Think it was the last game before the season ended in the covid season. Obviously, has home fans but was quite friendly. Think it cost about £5 for parking. -
Probably in the starting 11 then tomorrow!🤪

Boro running scared! Must be the new manager bounce! (as well as having players injured+bad form) -

Don't think we'll win tonight, as Boro are a decent side but I do feel more upbeat about the club after signing Moore! -
Will we bring in any strikers now Moore's in?
-
I'm shocked by that! Couldn't see that happening! Well done Flickers! Assuming he'll be watching tonight.
-
Don't get me wrong, he seems decent. Just thinking about it from his perspective. Just having a vacancy as a reason 'is neither here or there' for me. Vacancies come up periodically throughout the season. I'm not being argumentative, just wandering the attraction of a (currently) bottom four side instead of waiting another few months until another vacancy comes up.
-
Genuine question: Why would Moore come Vale?
-
Stevenage poor for me, although could have scored 4 second half. Agree, some positive signs.
