  1. Even though I reckon a good few of our players will be able to hold their own next season, some (Garrity, Chissy, Ripley) even top end of League 2. However, I do think that we need to break up parts of the squad in order to break up the lack of mental strength. No blood, new quality and a new belief.
  2. Thought that but, for me, it should be a smaller event with no BS. Just her and A. N. Other and just a handful of regular fans. Think it would possibly go 'some' way to help to heal the relationship between club and supports as well, as long as 'some details' from the discussions are published.
  3. If I was Carol, next season, I would meet with a small number of fans (stakeholders of the club) once a month or whatever to gage fans' opinion, concerns etc. behind closed doors. In all seriousness, although people on here might disagree with one another, it's clear to me that people on here see the issues (e.g. Flitcroft, lack of striker etc.) so early on that Carol could do with hearing these thoughts and opinions as early as possible. It would be then up to her but at least it would improve communication between club and fans. As IMO she has been hearing a load a boswollocks from Flitcroft who was found out but it took too many transfer windows.
  4. But what do we reckon if we did play them all as midfielders? For me, depth would be pretty decent for League 2.
  5. Midfield players IMO don't look too bad as long as we play them in midfield: Chis Garrity Ojo Grant Sang Walters Although, appreciate some could go BUT depth doesn't look bad. Thoughts????
  6. Agree. Certainly going to be a challenge keeping hold of these 2. And, even though Ojo has done my head in a bit recently, when his head's on, he's decent. I reckon Ojo, Garrity and Chissy is a decent midfield 3 in league 2. For me, better than what we went up with. Just the small matter of the defence and attack. Hoping Auntie Carol is going splash some cash, as well as clearing out some sh1t3.
  7. Splitting hairs but sure he went off in the first half after having a complete 'mare'. Never to be seen again. Waste of time, money and effort!
  8. Definitely need to sort out 'Piegate' and 'The Great Pie Debacle of 2023-24'.
  9. Or do what the Milan clubs do?🪖🤪🤪🤪
  10. I reckon, if we play like that, we'll stay up. Just kidding! Seriously, I need someone to explain that game. How the swing from us being decent to so poor and vice versa. However, the swing in quality the second half was bigger than the first. I.e. they were better in the second half than we were in the first and we were worse second half than they were first. Second half, Sang looked like he'd never played football before.
  11. Ripley Lopata. Smudge. Yak Ojo Sang. Garrity. Grant Chissy Loft. Uche in a 352
  12. Can feel your frustration but for me that's the reality. We aren't good enough. Not against a potential Championship side. Make all the comparisons you want but we're are not good enough. That's why we are fourth from bottom. Moore could have set us up to 'have a go' and attack. I reckon he didn't do that because he thought that we would get even more of a battering. So he set us up to be well organised and as tight as duck derriere. Not pretty. Not attacking. But trying to strangle the life out of the game to stop them scoring. If it had worked, we all would be saying he's a tactical genius. A comparison would be how Italy used to play in World Cups 1982 (although they did counter attack) or how set up defensively in the Euro 2000 tournament and got to the final.
  13. We aren't good enough. Not against Peterborough. Simple. He didn't many options tactically.
  14. Do think that us, Burton and Cheltenham are pretty much on par: p155 poor. So, we do have a chance.
  15. We don't have enough quality to go toe-to-toe with Peterborough, as well as that, we don't have very good balance in team: some round pegs in square holes. Don't think Moore had that many options available: he's not a miracle worker but that's what we needed from him last night if we were to win. He tried the lesser of the evils in trying to keep them out. But it didn't work. I expect a number of changes for Saturday. Don't think we go 'gung ho' but expect a couple more attacking options.
  16. To be fair, I don't think he/we will need to worry about his pace as we'll be camped out in our own area for most of the game.
  17. Agree that it seems like a side to try and 'keep them out' BUT we have to try and 'get out' - we've got to have those options. It also gives them something to think about. We'll see.
  18. I realistically think we'll be in the bottom 4 at the start of play next Saturday afternoon. Cheltenham to beat Carlisle on Tuesday. Possibly, we can get a point at Boro???
