Things id expect for next season to hold her accountable for her decisions and whether or not she has learnt from the disastrous couple of seasons.
1) id expect a striker if not two recognised and with a half decent goal record bought in early doors
2) 75% of our business done around the time they go back for pre season.
3) if moore starts poorly in the first 15-20 games not leaving to long before pulling the trigger and leaving it post Christmas
4) players brought in to play there favoured position
5) regardless of if were fighting for promotion or down the other end of the table having a strong January and come out of the window stronger than when we went in.
6) if things are going wrong take strong leadership.
7) appointments with either new dof or managers interview multiple candidates
8^ regarding dof model id expect a clear plan in how we are going to be working in that regard pretty much as soon as the season is over next week.

The only slight positive of today is atleast next season were in with a shot of winning some games again

Vale has gone from the highlight of my week to cant be bothered even check what the score will be on Saturday. Anything under 5:0 would probably be some sort of bonus. We will be 3:0 down at half time. Thankfully only a week to go to be put out of our misery for this season.

The sad thing is , to the younger generation of fan (myself included) I've witnessed some pretty horrendous times at vale. Its been tough really tough. 2 years ago it finally felt like the tide has turned and that promotion team it finally felt like we were on the up and i was proud to be a vale fan and i had complete trust that we had competent owners for the first time in my life. Fast forward 2 years and its back to the usual chaos that usually follows the club. And it just feels so deflating this time. How has it been able to get to this point. Im not questioning carols intentions as i do still believe she wants the best for the club however i expect answers to what has caused our catastrophic downfall from January last year to now. Bad decision after bad decision. The complete neglect of the running of the football side of things. The neglect of the fans views . The going into hiding instead of fronting things? The sad thing is if i dont hear some accountability for whats gone on. Some explanation i dont think ill get a season ticket next year. Ive never felt so disconnected from the club in all my time supporting the club. Our promotion year was like a siege mentality we were all in it together to where we are now is night and day and she will have closer to 2k home fans there next season compared to the 10k she desires. How has she got it so wrong? Whilst i was impressed when moore was brought in i find it astonishing that our last two manager appointments there was no interview process to see who was the best out there for us. Its just complete and utter neglect. No strikers brought in January. If you look at our business in January when it was evidently clear we needed some quality brought in to help us avoid relegation we brought in our marquee signing dan gore who played for 50 mins never to be seen again. Lapata disappeared . Mighten disappeared. Weir looks a non league player. Rhys williams sent back to Liverpool before kicking a ball. Its just a <ovf censored> shambles

And just like that its in our own hands again. Its not been pretty and theres a long way to go but proud of the lads in the last couple of weeks in terms of desire to get themselves in with a shout of staying up. We looked doomed 3 weeks ago. Inquests need to be had at the end of the season as where the fight they have had in them over the last few weeks was previously when we were in dire form. I think 2 wins and a draw sees 100% safe it may be less required with the form of chelt and burton but i think another 7 will definitely do it. UP THE VALE

Yes there's been boos but after what we've had to watch that's to be expected.
I'd say the support has always been there other than the moronic booing of Loft and Massey which beggar's belief .
Wasnt saying we havent backed them my point was more that now more than ever we can try make a difference. Attendances have been dropping and rightly so for what weve been put through this season people have lost hope. But a little bit of hope returned Saturday. We all need to come together as one

vale fans will always turn up. its down to the worst vale squad ive ever seen to turn this around now.
I completely agree we do deserve to be where we are right now however theres a small chance we can get out of the mess so we all need to pull together as one . Stranger things have happened

What a terrible season its been on and off the pitch. But somehow after yesterdays win we are in with a sniff of pulling off a miracle the only way i think we can get ourselves out of this is if we pack the park. Our last home games are all winnable and i think if we were to win them wed stay up. Id like the club to offer cheaper tickets to get bums on seats. Its the start of a new dawn flitcroft is gone although left in position far to long weve all finally got our wishes. Bring family/mates along lets do our bit to push the lads on . They showed fight and passion yesterday lets get vale park rocking for the first time since the hamil switch. I truly believe if we do it can give the players that extra bit in terms of belief to try and get us over the line. we have been fantastic this season considering what weve been put through this season but now is the time to put that all to bed and create some noise in the right way. We are all vale. We all want league one next year. Lets help achieve this.

I wonder if carol realises the only way she will ever achieve 10k plus home fans is providing a team that we are all proud of, a team that we are excited to come and watch on Saturday afternoons. Ive never seen such a pathetic excuse of a football team in my life. We let pett go and replaced him with jason lowe..... pett is no world beater but id take him every day of the week over lowe. Dan jones today you'd struggle to find a worse performance than that in any sunday league side across the country this weekend. Pathetic just pathetic. Our strikers have about 5 goals between them all season....... it is the most criminal neglect ive ever seen at vale in my whole life supporting the club. It simply is unacceptable. I could of recruited a better team than this lot. And they supposedly put this together through endless research and non stop hard work????

Great post mate that absolutely sums up how the i feel about it all. I sit there constantly watching players struggle in positions there not comfortable in and i cant see how they have allowed this to happen. Even now your telling me there is no free agents that could strengthen us just a little bit we dont even need world beaters at this point just someone who can play in there natural position but they sit back and have done nothing. Ive never felt so disengaged with a vale team in all my life so many forgettable players no characters it just bland. These people this is there job they supposedly spend hours and hours and hours looking into players to fit our system and ethos and this is what they came up with? Seriously?

Would like to see mighten start again. Think the space on vale park will be good for him. Can we build on the clean sheet. I dont think a draw would be a disaster with burton away the week after.

I mean all we can ask for is effort like last night i still anticipate we are going down and flitcroft needs to go. But atleast there was a bit of grit and fight in them last night. My tuesday night wasnt ruined for once which is nice.

I heard that the injury excuse for being sent back was a cover up apprently his attitude was shocking and also he looked a shambles in training(as in not very good at football) so they club sent him back. The injury line was used to cover it up. Either way great bit of recruitment!!
