  1. Several managers , opposition fans have pointed out Uche as being the difference in tight games against us. i don’t think he’s a talented footballer, but he makes the most of his attributes and gives 100% and has some passion. he’s a foil to the ‘footballers’ around him other league 1 managers want to sign him which is because they know a bit about football. i see it , 1000’s of vale fans see it. 3/4 of the usuals on here don’t. If we lose Uche , we will lose the one player that can make a difference ( not every game ) but in some where it’s 11 v 11 standard players , he has something different. and not everything can me measured via stats. There is not a stat that shows a player who’s having to be marked by 2 players due to their strength, defenders panicking as he runs at them. He’s now got his first goal as well. lose him and I can see us struggling.
  2. Bit better than ‘Crosby out’ I guess 😉
  3. Agree that the police should do a slow time prosecution of fans on the pitch , or the club will have to at least ban them from the ground , else no deterrent. thats different to preventing a spontaneous pitch invasion and then using force to remove them once peacefully protesting.
  4. Just going to swap onto the ‘Crosby out’ thread to see if he’s getting the blame along with the Police ..😉
  5. I think you answered your own argument (disruption) not hooligans. so clubs job to sort not Police
  6. There aren’t enough police to stop crime on the streets , I don’t think they can fill a league 1 ground with cops incase some fans with tennis balls in their pockets want to stop a game peacefully. the club have the obligation to keep people off the pitch , pay for more stewards / extra police they didn’t clearly
  7. No but you could see on the tv about 6 Coppers in the ground and others have said the same who were there. do I need to have been there to agree if todays match being abandoned is the police’s fault Was anyone injured ? Did anyone assault anyone , cause any damage ?
  8. For disorder , fans were clapping and shaking hands
  9. The club either pay for police in the ground (private venue ) or they don’t. I’d imagine with their money issues they hadn’t today The stewards are there to stop fans invading a pitch. what level of force would the Police use to get peaceful protesters off a pitch ? I mean who doesn’t love blaming the Police for most of society’s issues. But today is a leap
  10. How would , (for a fixture of this size ) probably 20 coppers prevent 1000’s of fans on mass entering a football pitch and staging a peaceful protest. it’s the club’s responsibility unless its fans fighting engaged in disorder fans clapping and shaking hands with each other doesn’t fit that narrative
  11. Confused ??? ..what might happen next?? who’s really at fault??… If in doubt … blame the feds 😂
  12. That’s better ! You just never know .. an uche hat trick ??? Wilson to notch ??
  13. Defo not satire. Given that he didn't hit your 4 point threshold and folded against the team at the bottom of the league, I assume you agree with me? 2 poor defensive errors doesn’t make him a bad manager. He’s about hit Par for half the season gone. im equally as disgusted with the result and performance of a few today. However , Ojo in that side today we get the win or a least a draw. Hopefully some reinforcements coming over the hill this week
  14. Can never guess if your account is satire
  15. That’s 2 and a half games now though where we have been excellent (last 3 home games)
  16. I was in the keep Crosby camp, however I’d still describe him as a developing manager, but one who clearly has players 100% behind him. Even players who have been left out playing for the shirt and club I’d also describe him as brave last night. Starting with 2 young full backs and it paid off. Top result
  17. Just annoyed at an awful first half performance, second half was a ground behind their team . You were not there Brian i was because I support by club. You type on a forum
  18. Booing and annoyed at losing , the second half the whole ground was behind the team , I’m glad the people that did , left at half time , id rather not listen to them moan on
  19. I’m not saying don’t sack him. I’m saying there are other fixtures I would judge a manager on he has just won the ones I would have been more concerned about - Exeter / Wigan today he has lost against a top 6/7 side with individual errors to blame not even close to as bad as the aspin / Bruno era
  20. I was in there mate , mainly positive , fans getting behind their team. You know absolutely nothing about clearly
  21. You're spot on, let's not bother changing managers and take the relegation that's staring us down. We might win a few in L2 and everyone will be happier! I’m glad you don’t run my organisation, if you think knee jerk changes at the first time of trouble is the answer. Come back to me after Carlisle. anything less than 4 points maybe time to go. But just because it’s Christmas doesn’t mean we deserved to beat a top 7 team.
