  1. Personally don't see them involved in it myself. We need 7 points just to overhaul them because of our horrendous goal difference . Be amazed if they are dragged into it.
  2. Obviously all games at the bottom are massive at this stage. Fleetwood v Cheltenham this Friday I'd be hoping for a draw 🙏. Ultimately we got take care of our own business but outside help always comes into the equation.
  3. They say every day is a learning day. I never knew Collins had gone to Bolton. The away game was a non event after Debs got himself sent off. Hopefully we'll give them more of a game on Friday.
  4. As others have said I'd snap hand off for last game scenario. I'm struggling to imagine us 4 points clear with 1 game left !
  5. Have we ever not backed them ? The loyalty and away followings have been excellent. Great atmosphere pre-Lincoln and for a Tuesday night, and no away fans the Fleetwood atmosphere was good too. Yes there's been boos but after what we've had to watch that's to be expected. I'd say the support has always been there other than the moronic booing of Loft and Massey which beggar's belief .
  6. Did anyone listen to the hastily arranged Grumble and Grumble last night at all ? I decided to watch the darts but was quite tempted to put RS on.
  7. It really doesn't mate. It's not cheap. It's a fact that crowds are better in higher leagues for a huge majority of clubs. I won't castigate anyone not renewing. We've won 2 of our last 16 home league games. People are disillusioned and I don't subscribe to they are less of a Vale fan for not renewing. I'll be renewing, however tomorrow is the last match I'm going to until August despite having a season ticket. Undoubtedly your view would be that I'm not a proper fan ?
  8. The fact that last season we started with Tommy McDermott as an emergency striker and currently have Dipepa as a better option than our champagne signing Loft speaks volumes for our recruitment. Reset needed now. Fresh start.
  9. As a somewhat uncompromising CH himself I thought we'd of started back to basics when Moore arrived. However defensively we've been woeful.
  10. Guess that's put a nail in the Icelandic striker coffin 🤣
  11. Can't see anything but match report and pics here. England men's U17s beat Northern Ireland by 5-1 in opening EURO qualifier at St. George's Park WWW.ENGLANDFOOTBALL.COM
  12. I've spent most of the season looking at the floor from my viewpoint in the Hamil ! Shaking my head or head in hands.
  13. I get football is a completely different animal to when Rudgie drove to Rhyl and Moor Green. But I really hope we can save ( possibly 75 grand or more ? ) on wages for a DOF in League 2. Can Moore be more hands on and lean on his own team of coaches and liaise with Hancock? Do we really need one. I'd say not at this moment no.
  14. My thoughts exactly mate. He's recruited the poor squad. But we're left with exactly that. A poor squad with no heart, defenders who can't pass a ball 6 feet and generally struggle to keep the ball on the pitch. I wouldn't imagine his departure coincides with an upturn in form. And if it does and there was some undercurrent of anti DF from the players they go down even further in my estimation ad 100% effort and application is a given regardless of who is manager or DF.
  15. I think it's too late Osh. Humongous task. However a bit of fight and a couple of wins would get fans back on board. Ultimately though I personally don't expect this sad bunch to win again this season. I'll look forward to August in hope.
  16. No . Too little too late. However might reignite some fans to renew season tickets and unite the fanbase . It had become toxic .
  17. Who was that striker / winger maybe 4 or 5 years ago? Think was under Askey. He's still plying his trade in non league I'm sure. Just can't think of his name at the moment.
  18. Personally the Rudge statue is more like Dickie Bird.
  19. Don't think she's in any world currently.
  20. So did we. Cheltenham, Reading,Fleetwood ,Shrewsbury and Burton. 1 point from 12 so far.
  21. Was always superb at Peterborough. Quality player. RIP.
  22. Pretty damning indictment of what's been recruited when you look at the bigger picture. Downright awful recruitment.
  23. Won't affect me but why do the EFL continually feel the need to mess around with football fixtures?. All last day fixtures are now 12.30pm kick offs on Saturday April 27th. In our case Cambridge.
  24. David Flitcroft shortcomings underlined by out-of-depth Port Vale unit FOOTBALLLEAGUEWORLD.CO.UK
