Just now, Vtid said:
Why try & pass it through an opposition player in the first place, absolutely school boy stuff if not worse. Garrity took a hit to the head he had to come off
The player can stay on the field of play if he/she was injured as the result of a physical offence for which the opponent is cautioned (yellow card, YC) or sent off (red card, RC) and the assessment/treatment is completed quickly. Otherwise, the player must leave the field of play

Why was the goal allowed, their player was nowhere near 10 yds away. It is not up to Smith to wait until he is 10 yds away. He unlawfully intercepted a free kick! Why did Vale.ayers not create with Ref?! Also why did Garrity get told to leave field when the foul on him resulted in a yellow card. Players don't have to leave! Bit baffled and Ref appears to be getting away with bad mistakes, and Vale.players not picking up on it.

Sadly little point in criticising any more. Carol has nailed her colours to the mast of her choice. Sadly it flies against what most Vale fans are seeing on and off the pitch. Vale fans are not fickle, they are hard-working, honest and true to themselves. Nothing like the product being offered to them on the pitch. The little we've seen so far proves that the issue was never the manager. It's higher up than that, but no one there will acknowledge it.

The way this season has gone for us is totally self inflicted. Once you decide that it is self inflicted, you look within your 'self' as to where the fault lies. It doesn't lie with Clarke or Crosby. It lies with one person who has pulled the wool over everyone's eyes. There is zero accountability for our performances from the one who has inflicted this season on us.

Just watched the highlights.
Looked like it was the highlight of the season :-
Fleetwood Vs Madame Tussauds United. Would appear players didn't need a shower to wash mud off after game, it was to clear the dust. -
Not sure it works anyway, cause it seems to be stuck on Port Vale 0 all the time.
We will have the best scoreboard in League Two by far. If that counts for anything?- 6

Sadly this is now a self fulfilling prophecy. Dreadful product on pitch (simply expecting fans to buy ticket, petrol, parking, food, and put out a performance like that time and time again)) equals less fans attending games which then equals less money in coffers to improve the dreadful product on pitch. And repeat.
How long does it go on before something changes? To stop the process.- 1

As I say, no compliments, back handed or otherwise..simply an observation. But each to their own.Thank God Croz saw your posts. You can keep your back-handed compliment. -
I did say a few games ago. Throw the youngsters on...in the right games and in the right context and managed. Having watched today with interest and using the opportunity to use them, each one gained great experience and each one performed beyond their years. Managed well, could be great for us. Supported by seasoned pros like Garrity, Uche, Smith etc...well done today. Not sold on AC but if he learns from today quickly, then keep going.

Spot on. I won't be there. His post game interviews are an insult to those who can see what he can't. Anyway Boxing day gates will tell all sadly.I’m unhappy with him as manager because home matches are the dullest for decades, he talks absolutetrying to pull the wool over supporters in his interviews, tactics are 1 dimensional and his in game management is poor. He talks like a coach, looks like a coach. Not a manager in a million years in my view.
7 points from 9 and still a section of fans want him out. That’s doesn’t bode well. Only going to be one winner, Carol and Flicker are delaying the inevitable if the revenue is not generated.
The attendance Boxing Day is going to be an acid test, attendance ,performance and result.

Having not renewed my ST this season for my own business reasons, I've been to less than half the games this season (but listened to every game and used Ifollow fully), and then paying £25 on the gate. I applaud the fans who attend each Home game and even more those who go away. My point is that I am now one of those supporters who are 50/50 as to how far I can logistically support the club. I just cannot, at the moment get behind the product on the pitch. The fans are being treated dreadfully by the standard on the pitch. Football is not rocket science. If you have shots at goal, some will go in. We are so far off this, with our tippy tappy, lack of responsibility playing out. No-one takes ownership of trying to drive forward. It's pass to each defender, who passes to each midfielder who passes direct back to Ripley who boots it forward which the other payers could have done, which invariably goes out, or goes too far, or becomes a heading duel which our non-striker's invariably dont win...
And repeat each and every time. There is nothing on the pitch which entices people like me to come and pay the maximum to watch. I know v Boro people were saying that 2/3 of those watching will never come back. Sadly I think they're right. There has to be change, whether that is with this manager or not. The DF model is not working, as there is no evidence of this being seen or explained from the club. The only positive is the Academy staff bringing these fab young and raw players through. They are being let down though by their senior mentors, role models and first team players and coaches.- 6

Sadly the manager team DF included are taking the fans for mugs. Treating the first team as experimental and completely ignoring the paying fans who have paid to come and watch the best possible team they can put out...losing last night was unacceptable and sits squarely on the management team. Following it with a condescending interview, accepting no responsibility merely topped it off. A mindset has to change, if not, a managerial/DF has to happen.

I guess it's semantics. What's the difference between a block and an interception? Still less than 9.15m away. Just a personal perception I guess.
