I feel that we have been totally unprepared for the last two seasons with stupid friendlies, I think we only played Doncaster last year that was of any use. It has been a complete shambles. Start with 'easy' pre season friendlies and ensure that they get progressively harder.

Regarding who is privvy to know, I see it like this. A lot of us have a source that feed us bits of info, but none of us wish to give up our source. If Carol comes out and says "this is how it is", then maybe we may not believe her. If Carol confides in the likes of Jacko and Bede on sensitive issues so that they can can in turn to the rest of us and say look "Carol is right by not giving away information on X, Y and Z because it is in the best interests of an individual" then I fully trust them and it should be laid to rest. I find it strange that the last three Vale managers see something in Massey that we don't. I am scared that he will be offered another two year deal. If that happens I just won't ever bother with Vale again.

I can't see that anything has improved under Moore, it takes some doing to be worse than Jim Gannon. I just can't watch his interviews as they are painful to listen to. He does nothing for me. It will take a massive turn around for me think he is doing a good job.

We were already doomed/done/relegated 10 games ago, the mini blip of form by beating two under performing teams was never going to change anything. Darren Moore does nothing me, neither does Carol, we are clueless from the roof to the pitch.

At any level, any footballer played out of position may say that they are happy just to play, the reality is that is will destroy them. They become professionals in their position by playing well in that position all of their lives then you think they may have to change at a professional level? Even the discussion of this shows how bad we are. Plant scored a few goals last season I think, every player, rookie or veteren should always always always be in their natural position. Just my opinion as a Sunday league player mind. 😀

Thanks for that, that gives me slight hope for the Exeter game but I just did my match prediction. Just as you shouldn't rename a boat, I won't change my prediction and hope for the best.

Why aren't the FA doing something about this. If every team is losing millions chasing success while the Prem makes billions then something is seriously wrong with football. When the likes of Man City can buy a 100 players for the youth policy of which most will be cast aside instead of being blooded at a lower level, it smacks of pure greed. Football is shot, it is an awful industry.
