We were already doomed/done/relegated 10 games ago, the mini blip of form by beating two under performing teams was never going to change anything. Darren Moore does nothing me, neither does Carol, we are clueless from the roof to the pitch.

At any level, any footballer played out of position may say that they are happy just to play, the reality is that is will destroy them. They become professionals in their position by playing well in that position all of their lives then you think they may have to change at a professional level? Even the discussion of this shows how bad we are. Plant scored a few goals last season I think, every player, rookie or veteren should always always always be in their natural position. Just my opinion as a Sunday league player mind. 😀

Thanks for that, that gives me slight hope for the Exeter game but I just did my match prediction. Just as you shouldn't rename a boat, I won't change my prediction and hope for the best.

Why aren't the FA doing something about this. If every team is losing millions chasing success while the Prem makes billions then something is seriously wrong with football. When the likes of Man City can buy a 100 players for the youth policy of which most will be cast aside instead of being blooded at a lower level, it smacks of pure greed. Football is shot, it is an awful industry.

A couple of things, more money for Vale as folk like me gave up on Ifollow years ago due to the less than acceptable quality in the first three seasons. It was mentioned a while ago that games would be streamed on Sky Sports outside of the 3pm blackout, therefore it makes sense to close down iFollow domestically. If iFollow continues overseas then its a win win for all.

While I think we should do what we can to support him, the best we can realistically offer is a play and pay deal which I don't think would be good for him. If a DOF will help with the football infrastructure within the club, and stay help with scouting then I am all for having one. DM should have the final say on signings, tactics, and formations. Martin Foyle was in his early managerial career when he was at Vale. Maybe he has more knowledge now and could work.

It festers in our DNA doesn't it when trying to point the finger and blame anybody we can. Maybe because after years of bad owners and complete and utter tripe we feel we have been let down again. It feels worse now as we have owners/an owner whose heart is in the right place. I would say we need/needed to get rid of whoever was responsible for the subs after 60 minutes in the FA Cup, whoever is/was responsible for the duff sideways football, whoever is/was responsible for recruitment. I would have been more than happy for Flitcroft to stay only if he was nowhere near the first team. I was more than happy for him to build the infrastructure within. We do need experience in there to help. I would welcome Colin Garlic back, he seemed to be a really great person to have around the club.
