  1. Whatever we do we need to ensure our 3 main strikers are not on our books next season. Uche and Wilson are easy, just don't offer them deals but Loft is going to be tricky.

He's not good enough to serve pies. I don't know how we convince a club to take him off our hands or to agree to a contract termination. What a waste of time he is.

I keep 3. Smith. Garrity and Chislett..

2 out of those need no explanation. Smith although under fire for me is not only a solid player at l2 but he's one of a dying breed that actually give a <ovf censored>.

  2. The point I'm trying to make is when you compare the squads against other squads within the same division I would argue this is one of the worst we have had. I'm talking post Jan.

We had a good start? Lost 7-0 away at Barnsley on the opening day of the season. One of the worst results in the Club's history.

OK but we then followed it with a very good run.

It is nowhere near as bad as the squads when we were looking like going out of L2.

The terrible squads in league Two were playing against other terrible squads in league 2.

Although bad, there was always 2/3 noticeably worse than us.

These last two relegations from league 1 have, in my opinion, been when we have had the worst squad in the league. In both occasions we had a reasonable start. The Bruno one I think by luck really, but this time it was because two loans added so much quality we were a mid table side. Once they left and we did the terrible business we did in Jan, whilst clubs below us went and did something meaningful in the window, we became the worst team in the league. Even Carlisle who are shocking beat us once we decided our own fate in Jan.

We tried really hard to do the same thing last season.

With that in mind, I do give Darren Moore a little bit of slack. But in all my time he's the most uninspiring manager I think we've ever had and we've had some shockers. I can't even bring myself to watch his interviews so God knows what the so called football players think.

His game plan and tactics are nonsense, subs are strange, line ups often strange, game management is non existent. I have no real faith he's the man we need to make a serious go of it next year and to be honest after around 20 years of a ST I'm not that interested in purchasing one next year to see how he gets on.

  5. On reflection after initially thinking Moore would quit at the end of the season I've now started to think that he actually has no choice but to stick with us. That's purely based on how bad he's been.

We are his last chance saloon in league 2. He has to hang around to bring us back up or his career is over in my opinion. His last job and this so far have been a disgrace.

I know he's been dealt a bad hand but the fixtures were favourable and he's got 2 points. We've been shocking with no real signs of any improvement.

Vale have got themselves in a mess and will have to stick so he isn't going to get booted whether I like that or not.

  6. Flitcroft and all his recruitment team OUT.

We will need a new manager. That dummy won't be around next year. Can't keep a bloke who will not have won a football match.

League 2 won't be easy as we have seen before.

    What a mess.

  7. Port Vale. The club that loves to talk the talk but never backs it up.

All this talk of they are good players etc. Is a load of <ovf censored>. They are dreadful. Dross.

Managers got nothing out of them.

<ovf censored> off Flitcroft. Absolute shambles on your watch. Do the decent thing and walk tonight.

  8. Pointless statement which is just a load of words rather than actually anything of note.

Do your talking on the football pitch. Where it matters. I'm bored of statements. They mean nothing now.

Oh and by the way, the club having a sit down with several groups does not fix anything with fan base. None of them people represent me or my feelings for a start.

If I'd had a royal invite to this cosy chat I'd have told them that the real reason you've had it rough from the fans is because the football side is <ovf censored> and you've not paid attention. You've let someone who has proven to be out of his depth continue to undo the good work on the football side and when fans have voiced concerns you've doubled down. In short, you've brought it on yourselves so <ovf censored> sort it. It's not about the fans. Never has been. They've backed this club and continue to do so.

Even if we win it will hardly be a pant stretcher. We will still be in the relegation zone and will still lose the next game.

I think a lot of Vale fans will leave before the end to go back to the pub.

Derby 8 - Vale 0 I'm going for. I fancy two sending offs for us and a missed penalty just to punch us all in the face a little bit more.

At least we would of made two tackles.

There must be about 10 fans who give him stick. They’re obviously morons.

98% of Vale fans have been unfailingly supportive to him.

If he’s going to storm off down the tunnel every week and ignore the thousands of decent fans who are desperately willing him to do well, then he needs to think about a different profession.

I've tried my best to back him every time he's played for vale.

I don't mind someone who is crap but tries.

But I'm not convinced he's doing that now or even cares.

The killer for me was whatever he tried to do which lead to their corner.

    Pay him up.

  11. Since January I think it's fairly obvious to anyone not blinded by complete faith in a failure that we are the worst squad in the league by some distance.

Compare to Fleetwood, they get a head of us at their place and go on to beat us comfortably 3 zip. We get in front at our place and let them back in.

Poor players are one thing, you can get by to some extent with fight, organisation, a bit of brains etc. The huge problem for us is we've got crap players in the main and no leaders, no fighters, no winners.

It's a team of LOSERS. A team of WEAK men.

    Pathetic.

90% need to he <ovf censored> off as they will be no good in our aim to get out of league 2 next year.

The man who signed them needs to be <ovf censored> off as he clearly isn't up to the task.

The analysts who have analysed these signings so thoroughly need to be <ovf censored> off.

    Absolute <ovf censored> show.

  12. He has a very blinkered opinion of a few players that saw Port Vale flirt with relegation to non league on more than one occasion. There was a lot of dead wood and their moves since Port Vale suggest the decisions made in the summer were correct. We knew that before though, as we had to watch it.

I live Pope the player and what he did for Vale, but it was time to move on.

  13. Hi Lads,
Maybe a point worth mentioning this week. I bought a 10 game flexI ticket back in the summer, this week I’ve received an e-mail from the club stating that I’ll be able to get the final 11 home games, starting with Walsall on Saturday, free via iFollow codes. Not sure how well this has been communicated by the club other than directly messaging supporters, in case some out there haven’t checked their inboxes.
    UTV! Dave.

Have they mentioned anything about ST holders?
