I think this is the way forward in showing what happens with a slight (or not so slight) shift in average temperatures.

It’s the New York Times, so I’d take that with a pinch of salt. Vegas has always been “ abnormally” hot. It’s in the middle of a desert.

You are being incredibly harsh on Kamala Harris.

I had no idea what was going on in Ukraine until she kindly explained it to me:

“So, Ukraine is a country in Europe.”

“It exists next to another country called Russia,” she continued. “Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that’s wrong, and it goes against everything that we stand for.”

    Not much gets past Horizontal.

For all the slagging off Bouwers, he predicted 4-1. I don't get why people have a problem with him? He does a good job in my opinion.

I like Bowers too. He adds colour to the commentary, and he’s a true Vale fan. It must have killed him to have to work in Bournemouth a few weeks ago.

I think Trudeau has <ovf censored> up with the trucker thing, calling them racist had no negative impact whatsoever, probably the opposite I'd say. Are normal people waking up to the racist left wing power grab?

Maybe they’ll stop being silly now, and get up off their knees. Pathetic.

When Russian invaded Crimea in 2014 the Obama/Biden administration sent blankets, in 2018 Trump sent anti tank missiles to Ukraine and got clobbered for doing so by the MSM.

In 2022 with Russia invading Ukraine Biden spent his time implementing his woke agenda. For months in 2021/22 Biden and his advisors have been convinced Putin was going to invade Ukraine, what did he/they do.....nothing.

    I wish Brandon would go.

We need need Trump back , otherwise it could be all over . Putin is delusional , muttering about a nuclear threat , and that’s dangerous . Biden can’t handle it . Bring back Trump , and he’ll sort this mess out. If he wasn’t robbed of the election, all would be fine now in Ukraine. Biden has dementia, Harris has a dose of the giggles, and the whole world is under threat right now. If anyone thinks that it’s not, they’re a fool. Putin was waiting for his chance all along. Hitler laughed at Chamberlain , and now Putin is laughing at Biden. A sad state of affairs . God help us.

  7. Trump had  Putin by the short and curlies. A real man , who stood up to Russia. War in Europe now , thanks to Biden the  real p**** in all this. Even Neville Chamberlain had more sense than Biden , but it’s the same situation. Hitler laughed at Chamberlain and Putin is laughing at Biden.

I am commenting about football in the UK, a simple gesture of humanity, not weighed down with US politics. Although some would like it to be in the UK. When we have footballers commanding more respect than leading politicians what does that tell us?

I’m commenting about football in general. Nothing political about it at all. Beckham was asked one time about what was needed to win a particular match when he was at Man Utd. He said “ If they score one , then we have to score 2”  Of course , with you lot , it’s always America’s fault , and any opportunity to knock this great country is taken. But , as they say in Texas , we could give a rat’s ass. 🤣. Get your own country in order first , before throwing stones. Oops , I just got political. 🤣🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I love the Vale , and it’s great to be near the top , even at this early stage, but that was embarrassing on Saturday from Covolan, in my opinion.

He broke their momentum. What's embarrassing about that? Teams have played those tricks on us for years, what's goes around comes around.

Yes, he did break their momentum, but the way in which he did it was embarrassing to watch. Really bad acting . That’s all. We should have been out of sight by then, by the Vale are playing well. Looking forward to Saturday.

Call me crazy but I don't think bullying people into accepting vacuous virtue signalling gestures is not progress. It's the opposite.

It's not really about racism. No one can seriously tell me that PVFC and Harrogate players taking a knee does ANYTHING at all to combat racism can they? And then one step away from that, that whether or not some fans boo or more fans clap has anything to do with it, and then one step further, whether it's therefore acceptable to personally abuse people on a forum despite knowing that personal abuse is explicitly against the rules of the forum.

It's not about racism, it never is, despite them always trying to claim it is. If you can claim racism you can claim that you are anti-racism, if you are anti-racist you can claim that you are right and therefore demand compliance and/or impunity. Look at the other thread as an example. The argument in that thread was....We should be allowed to personally abuse a poster, contrary to the rules that we all agreed with, because, despite them not actually saying or acting in anyway that can be described as racist, I am interpreting their opinion as that which a racist person would hold, and therefore I'm either justified in breaking the rules, or, the rules don't protect them.

And again, all the poster did was say that he didn't agree with the gesture of taking a knee. There was no discrimination based on race, nothing at all.

It's quite a silly argument to demand the right to protest whilst simultaneously attacking people who want to protest another view. If this was about equality, they wouldn't think that. If it was about tolerance, they wouldn't think that. But it isn't, so they don't.

And I'm not having a go at most of you. It's perfectly acceptable to support protests and I assume that most people are decent and abhorred by racism. But the taking of the knee doesn't stand up to even basic scrutiny. It really is a joke.

If there were some way to magically prove that footballers taking a knee was actually reducing the net number of racists in society, I would support it. Would any of you lot still support it if the same magic test could prove that it was actually creating more racists?

The taking of the knee originates with NFL player Colin Kaepernick, who has made millions from it. He’s lucky , because he can’t play worth a ****. When he jumped off the cliff , the rest of the sheep followed.
