  1. I’d take 4 points over Easter , although a win at Northampton would be great. Bolton and Peterborough  will be extremely tough, but stranger things have happened, and a point from either could set us up .Win on Friday , and our tails will be up, and who knows. It’s going to be very difficult, but it can be done. UTV

The first half was pretty even. The second half I felt we were just about the better team until they brought Hudlin on, who many wanted us to sign, at which point I felt their performance fell off a cliff. Not excusing nor signing a forward but I would take Dipepa over him every time.

Dipepa scored in the 9th min for England today , in a 5-0 win.

He resigned apparently? If we are just gonna make assumptions

It says by mutual agreement , which usually means jump or get pushed. I think she saw the light , finally, and he saw that his position was untenable.

Strange, they have 5 of the bottom 7 to play, so lots of twists and turns.

We had our chance in February, with a decent run of games to get some points , but this team is not capable of that. I have no doubt that Vale are going down , and it will be worse next season if Flitcroft stays. The club is in a very bad place , and it’s going to take a major overhaul in the Summer to try to arrest the decline. I’m not holding my breath. It’s sad to see lifelong Vale supporters not attending anymore, but who can blame them ?

I was in a pub full of Liverpool fans jumping up and down for United. I don’t like United but really dislike Liverpool- horrible fan base. Great game, United equalised against the run of play, Liverpool took the lead against the run of play and great ending. Funny in Klopp’s last season with LFC they won’t win a trophy.

    They’ve already won a trophy.

  6. This side has nothing in them. They’re just waiting for the season to end . Garrity and Ripley are committed pros , and the young lads try hard , but the likes of Massey and Ojo have downed tools. With the current setup  , Vale are headed for the National League.

At the time he sold PVFC wasn't a success, it was scrapping it out at the bottom of Lge 2. He was extremely lucky that there were local people around who wanted to buy the club, had the money and had plans for it.

The Shanahans have shown they can be ruthless at PVFC.

They certainly have shown that ruthlessness, getting rid of some really hard working staff , and bringing in yes men / women.

I'm disappointed with the football side of things dished out by PVFC at the moment but success is always a work in progress.

I'll be buying an iFollow subscription next year and will plan any UK trips around seeing the Vale.

Vale is in my blood and heart and no person(s) will ever change that.

Unfortunately, it’s not in the players’ blood and hearts, not including Ripley and Garrity.

  9. Carol , you have decisions to make. Get rid of Flitcroft . If you don’t, then whatever happens in L2 next season is on you. Even if Vale finish mid table in L2 , the damage has been done.
Enough of this DOF nonsense . There are as many coaching staff on the Vale bench as are on the pitch, and none of them are any good. You sacked some great , and loyal, employees at the club , and left yourself with people who dare not say no to you. Do one or the other.Sort it out or sell it.

  10. Massey will never do more than the bare minimum required. He never gets injured because he rarely puts a tackle in. After he loses the ball, he points to other players to cover his mistakes. The worst player I’ve ever seen playing for the Vale. As if that wasn’t bad enough, we have 7 more like him.

He’s nearly 80 and has no interest in being DOF and I don’t blame him. It’s not going to happen . Why do I know this? It’s because I work for the same organisation as his son and law and we had this conversation in 2019. It’s not going to happen.

Yes, the man has done wonders for the club , and is a legend. He deserves to enjoy his retirement in peace .
