I’d take 4 points over Easter , although a win at Northampton would be great. Bolton and Peterborough will be extremely tough, but stranger things have happened, and a point from either could set us up .Win on Friday , and our tails will be up, and who knows. It’s going to be very difficult, but it can be done. UTV

It is, and I wonder what the attendance will be. Should be a good few coming back with Flitcroft gone . I’m getting anxious already. -

After those clear cut chances, Vale fans can go across the road to the brewery at half time . Badly needed pint(s) -
Paul, my personal opinion on Clarke is that he was overwhelmed with grief , and his heart and mind wasn’t in the right place to manage the Vale. A very sad situation , but I’m really glad to see him back in management again with Cheltenham, and I hope he keeps getting better and better.

It says by mutual agreement , which usually means jump or get pushed. I think she saw the light , finally, and he saw that his position was untenable.

She’s listened to the fans. Good news.

Funny, I was just thinking about him. We were 9th in the table when he was sacked. -
That’s a nice tribute to him.

We had our chance in February, with a decent run of games to get some points , but this team is not capable of that. I have no doubt that Vale are going down , and it will be worse next season if Flitcroft stays. The club is in a very bad place , and it’s going to take a major overhaul in the Summer to try to arrest the decline. I’m not holding my breath. It’s sad to see lifelong Vale supporters not attending anymore, but who can blame them ? -

This side has nothing in them. They’re just waiting for the season to end . Garrity and Ripley are committed pros , and the young lads try hard , but the likes of Massey and Ojo have downed tools. With the current setup , Vale are headed for the National League. -
They certainly have shown that ruthlessness, getting rid of some really hard working staff , and bringing in yes men / women.
-
Unfortunately, it’s not in the players’ blood and hearts, not including Ripley and Garrity.
-
Carol , you have decisions to make. Get rid of Flitcroft . If you don’t, then whatever happens in L2 next season is on you. Even if Vale finish mid table in L2 , the damage has been done. Enough of this DOF nonsense . There are as many coaching staff on the Vale bench as are on the pitch, and none of them are any good. You sacked some great , and loyal, employees at the club , and left yourself with people who dare not say no to you. Do one or the other.Sort it out or sell it.
-
That’s just awful defending. He had the freedom of the park . Pathetic. We’re down for sure.
-
It’s awful watching on iFollow. Can’t imagine what it’s like at Vale Park.
-
Massey will never do more than the bare minimum required. He never gets injured because he rarely puts a tackle in. After he loses the ball, he points to other players to cover his mistakes. The worst player I’ve ever seen playing for the Vale. As if that wasn’t bad enough, we have 7 more like him.

Yes, the man has done wonders for the club , and is a legend. He deserves to enjoy his retirement in peace .
