Started the 1st game of the season in CM.
Clearly that's where he was signed to play.
Then fill in at RWB if needed.
Our wingback options have been shocking this season.
- Sang: Centre mid playing out of position.
- Clarke: Injured. Unlucky.
- Massey: Winger playing out of position.
- Plant: Winger/forward playing out of position.
- Grant: CM most of his career. Never a WB in a million years.
- Shorrock: 16 year old winger. Thrown to the wolves.
- Mighten: Winger playing out of position.
- Jones: CB playing out of position.
It will be interesting to see where we recruit in the summer. As you point out we are still desperately short up front and at wingback (or fullback), and have been since we got promoted.

I called it in Feb.
He should have been put on compassionate leave in the April and returned to management when ready.
I said at the start of Feb that we would know our fate by the end of Feb, and Feb was awful. We played most of the teams around us and gave them all a boost.

That line up tweet has been deleted. If we've forfeited it'll only end up 3-0 that way 😀
It's still there, but now there are 2. Bolton won't know what to think. #mindgames

Cheltenham look to have an easy run in. Basically it’s up to us to win enough games.
I don't really see anything that stands out as particularly challenging or easy at this point. That's probably due to the league being so tight. As you say we just need to focus on picking up points for ourselves. I certainly feel a bit more optimistic given the last 2 games.

Thought I'd take a few mins to put together a handy guide to the remaining games for us, and the other teams battling it out to avoid relegation to league 2.
Enjoy.

Curtains already mate it was over when we didn’t pick up a win in either of our last 2 home games unfortunately
When we were at the start of Feb I said that we would know a lot more by the end of Feb. I still stand by that, and unfortunately Feb was about as bad as anyone could have foreseen.

No not saying that, but he wanted to get involved and consequently the guy had an open net.
Yes, he should have anticipated Smith passing to the unmarked striker on the edge of our area.

But this is what happens when you have a goalie that wants to get too involved in play.
So that was Ripley's fault?

Oh well, last time we got relegated my wife left me on the day of that game Vs Fleetwood (not because of the game, or the relegation). I don't even have that as a consolation this year. League 2 has never looked less appealing, but hopefully we can win a few games.
