  1. Difficult to find a new way of describing a match that highlights the same issues we've seen all season long. The lack of quality in the squad is evident from a defence that lacks organisation and leadership to an attack that trys it's best but has the cutting edge of a blunt spoon. The squad is simply not good enough for League One football and there's not many, if any, who will be playing it next season.
  2. First half was good. We pressed, got in their faces, created and took chances with Uche giving his best performance second time around. Second half was one of the most gutless, chaotic, rudderless, and pathetic performances I've ever had the misfortune to witness. This bunch have the least bottle that I've ever seen in a Vale team. Anything goes against them and they collapse like a pack of cards but this was a new low even by their standards. Moore doesn't get off scot free as his replacement of Uche with Weir borders on the insane. Relegation is now inevitable and there's not a cat in hells chance we bounce straight back as most of these clowns have another year on their contract.
  3. First things first Peterborough are the best team I've seen this season and the left side of Burrow and Mason Clark will give better sides than us problems but we didn't really give ourselves a chance last night. Plant did his best but it was clear from the first five minutes that we'd have problems down that side and we did nothing to combat it. We didn't change formation to combat their wide play and it was just a matter of time before they scored. I know their goals came via a deflection, a penalty and an own goal but your glass is more than half full if you think we were unlucky in any shape or form. We treated the game like a free hit and have placed all our hopes on the home games. Hopefully it'll be a successful tactic.
  4. This is not the worst Vale side I've seen in terms of talent but in terms of fight and desire it might be.
  5. Four days after sacking the manager at the start of a period of 8 games in 4 weeks, we are still stuck with an interim manager who's highest managerial position was assistant at Curzon Ashton. What a shitshow. Blackburn have turned it around in 24 hours!
  6. The old adage that protests will put off a potential manager is rubbish and just a ready made excuse for when the next Flitcroft puppet is appointed and goes wrong again. David Flitcroft does what's best for David Flitcroft. End of.
  7. Wish our defending was as committed as Carol's defence of Flitcroft.
  8. Hopefully Nathan Jones will get his chance after having to work with small clubs so far in his managerial career.
  9. Steve Cooper has signed a new deal at Forest until 2025. To paraphrase someone " A week is a long time in football"
  10. The worst thing you can do as a manager sometimes is get a team promoted
