  1. Serious thinking to do for not only management/owners but the fans too. Can't see many renewing season tickets unless drastic changes are implemented by those in charge. Sad day, but not unexpected with the absolute dross served up all season.

  2. The plain, simple truth is that Carol is a Vale fan who was able to offer Smurf a way out of the Club, to allow Vale to exist. She admits freely that she had/has no idea how to run a football club but needed someone in to advise her and hopefully run the side of the business that she was naiave in. In that respect she failed miserably. Also she does appear to succomb to sweet talkers/ alleged experienced football personnel to the extent that she loses sight of the future/ present important matters on the field. Her inability to interview properly, or at all, for some of the major, most Important roles in a football club have seen her downfall.  Quite frankly most Valiants treasure her enthusiasm for Vale but we desperately need her to take full and proper stock for our future. We can only hope that she sees fit to seek/ interview and totally consider correct and fully qualified persons to assist her in everyone's vision for a stable, properly run, planned, long term plan to resurrect our fabulous Club.🤞

What contrast! First half one of our best 45mins of the season, second half one of our worst. The Weir for Uche sub was baffling. See you all in L2!

Think you will be disappointed mate. I firmly believe there are loads and loads of long standing fans that honestly have had enough. Find an alternative to waste your cash and time on. Enough is enough. Not a knee jerk reaction, just common sense coming to roost for a vast amount of Valiants.

  4. I just don't understand why fans are so mystified at the Jeckyl and Hyde team we have. It's been glaringly o virus last season and throughout this that the squad is not good enough. Whatever formulation we have we cause no problems to opposing defences, our midfield never control a game and our defence will always give chances to the other team.  Owner and management have caused this. We can all see why we've been shyite for ages, why haven't Carol and all her hangers on?  Simply we are NOT good enough to be in Division 1. A whole lot of work will be required to allow Valiants to retain hope for the future. Have we got the correct people to achieve this? I'm not optimistic. Depressed, deflated, disappointed and down right now.

No he wasn’t. He was a dick from the first second he took over the club….ask Wilder.

So we all didn't love him (got dressed up as smurfs) when we won promotion?

I think we were all smurfed along on the crest of a wave of euphoria, not been used to success. We all succumbed to an expected upsurge in our fortunes, me included with my Smurf outfit, face painting, etc. All at my age! I looked ridiculous driving home from Wycombe with many a motorist scratching their heads in disbelief.🤣. Happy days that sadly faded so, so quickly.

Since 1st January we played 14 games with Flitcroft in the building, got four points and kept one clean sheet. Since he left we have play four games, got seven points and kept three clean sheets. Is this a coincidence?

Paste and post this to Auntie Carol.

For my part I think they were only marginally better than the Gas today and we did t have the same approach we had last week.

Also, if the game had been at Vale Park, I think we'd have won that.

Onwards and upwards to next week

So why did the manager change the tactics. After the last 2 games you'd have thought that we could see what our best formation/tactics ought to have been!!!

  8. Absolutely classic Vale....up one moment, down the next. Today we had a great chance to cement things, but hey, we blow it. When we analyse the season end, however we end up, be honest we are not good enough. If we manage the miracle all we can say is that there are some crap teams in this division, us included.

  9. Yesterday's Loft will tear Division 2 apart. As has been said the majority of Valiants want him to do well, for us. He most certainly hasn't had the season we all hoped for but do you know he really could be a success if we and the managers system can find a way to him playing like yesterday. I'll support him always if he puts in the effort.

  10. Time will tell how we progress now as a Club. These past months certainly have tested the patience of hardened, long standing fans in addition to the "fresh" brigade of more recent attendees. There are no guarantees in football so I'm going to swallow my pride a little and retract from my previous stance of not renewing my 2 season tickets/ not doing home or away matches/ not spending in the Club shop or ground. Fickle or not after nearly 50 years of attempting to understand why I put myself through the rigours and upsets at Vale, deep down we are Valiants desperately wanting the best for our Club  I do accept Carol also is the same. She wants Vale to prosper. She makes mistakes but accepts them. She runs a successful business and frankly is still learning (a lot) how to run a Football Club. The future is ours, the fans  We can assist in rebuilding by remaining steadfast in our loyalty to Vale.  Division 2 may seem the abyss but let's face it  we know it only too well. Surely we have Owners now that do share our vision and there are many, many Clubs out there who honestly would give anything to have Owners like ours. KTF.

  11. Took far to long for the penny to drop. We are in dire straits in the league, should've done this yonks ago. However hopefully this might galvanise things and go some way to getting fans back on board the Valiant wagon.

  12. The future is..........Owners, management and players sleepwalking towards the abyss. Only when they drop off the cliff will they open their eyes, but by then it's way, way too late.🤨

Jesus, if yesterday was camaraderie in action, I’d hate to see what we’d be like if they hated each other 🫣🫣

Keep hearing this verbal diaoreahe from managers, owners and players at Vale. Absolutely sick to the back teeth of all the hot air expended. Actions not words are needed. Fans are NOT stupid. They can put out whatever shyite they like, Valiants know as a squad we are totally pathetic.  A good deal more than half the squad are not fit enough or adept enough to handle 1st Division football. We all know it.

Our Captain has absolutely made sure to kill any atmosphere at the beginning of our last two home games all by himself emoji849.png

Tin hat on here, but imo he shouldn't have been anywhere near the 1st Team squad this season,  whether we have other defenders or not. His legs have gone, he cannot play out of defence, he offers nothing other than square/side to side passing. Refs have seen through his play over the seasons, so have us fans. He frankly is a liability even in a very poor team.

  15. Does anyone seriously believe things will be better in Division 2?  Get a grip....Flitcrift will still be here alongside many of those donkeys on the pitch. Nowt will change. Recruitment of "better" players is pie in the sky. Who the hell wants to play for Vale on the alleged inferior wage structure? Why would the Club increase its wages, on less income, when it should have been done ages ago. We are stuck in an ever spiralling hole.  Hundreds,if not thousands of regular attendees are now voting with their feet and will NOT renew season tickets. Action required now Carol, not when we are in a similar position next season. Give the wonderful fan base something to believe in for our future.
