VB, a very derogatory way of addressing other PVFC fans. I know a successful businessman who sits with them, who has done a lot for this club, supporting them as a fan for over 50 years and supporting them financially, through sponsorship. Yes he likes a beer when attending games and he likes to be vocal, that’s his Saturday afternoon. He’s certainly not a member of the ‘peed up mob’,he just sits in this area. This exactly the point I made about splitting the fan base.
I would not request a meeting with any one at the club because basically, I don’t want to listen to the drivel that they spout. I used to become frustrated with the lack of information that came out of the club, but when anything does it’s a load of rubbish. I prefer radio silence and hope that it stays that way.You prefer radio silence but want chapter and verse from Jacko et al?

Spot on. Comments from Bede and Mellor earlier would have stopped " all the assumptions about various aspects of the meeting " Not only that several people who were also not in attendance at the meeting certainly know plenty of what was discussed.
The groups were there on behalf of the supporters. Just give us some info after the meeting and all is good. For what i know of and have heard about, Bede, Mellor, Dicko and co. the fans views and thoughts are safe in their hands.
Lets hope the discussions continue. Very soon i hope
Yeah, Mellor, Bede… pull your finger out and get your skates on next time! 🙄

Fair play to you.
Enjoy it.
Just don’t moan about it next season.Your choice and all that.
I might renew AND reserve the right to carry on moaning. That alright with you fella?

Watching Sang trying to get within 10 yards of their left winger, I couldn’t help wonder how James Gibbons would have handled him. I definitely think there would have been fewer crosses into the box. And I’m pretty sure he would have left one or two on him.

Having a poor season. Wouldn’t be playing if we had better players. But has contributed massively to our team and Club over the past years and shouldn’t be dug out like this. We can criticize his current performance but let’s stay respectful eh? I’m guessing that no one will be more disappointed with his current performances than Smudge.

The problem is that the whole situation is now toxic. You maybe a minority exception. But look at what’s happening. It’s not doing anybody any good.
I don’t know. Is it toxic everywhere? It definitely is in some areas of the ground, but not everywhere. I sit in the middle of the Paddock and I honestly wouldn’t have described it as toxic there. It was as I walked out as the penalty went in at the Hamil end of the Paddock admittedly.

While they pull on Vale shirts, they get my support. Absolutely no point in anything else from now until the end of the season.

This might be the best football joke I have ever heard!

Loft didn’t come on until 70-odd mins though??????
I think it was about Lofty’s relaxed attitude to the half time up

I will get panned for this but smith should be dropped and take the captaincy off him . He been dire all season
I don’t think you will be panned. I’m Smithy’s biggest fan, named the dog after him, but even I would do as you suggest.

The guy in the red coat in the Railway who had a pop at Lofty at half time showed more passion than any of them.

Long time since Sang put over some decent crosses. Long long time since Grant put over some decent crosses, from open play. Infact tell me any player that has produced regular crosses into the box. They have all been useless. Or is it the system we play ??
He put in a couple of lovely crosses when he came on at the end of the Stevenage game.

Mate he’s been awful recently.Running around is the bare minimum you’d expect, maybe his partnership with Uche is the reason as they were working well together but he hasn’t look interested last few games which isn’t good enough. If we was so good there would be a championship team gambling on him for the 10-15 games not vale. This is his level
I thought he was v.good today

Clear booking after Weir got hacked down.
Why, as usual, are the other Vale players just watching disinterestedly instead of throwing their arms up in protest and backing up their mucker?
We are dreadful at this

My remit is simple:

- Attacking football with wingers.
- Someone fiery that won't accept second best.
Agreed. & someone a bit snippy in after match interviews. Love that.

Where the lie blames I think you have to look at the season in two parts.
1st half the season Crosby has wasted a good squad assembled. We had one of the best midfield in the league but overplayed and created very little clear cut chances. Crosby should have been sacked after the Cheltenham home debacle. Crosby faults. Flitcroft's fault for not sacking him.
2nd half of the season the squad is extremely weak physically and we just don't compete.Crosby has been left with a very poor unbalanced squad in no small part to injuries. We didn't recruit positions of need. Only one person to blame for the state of the current squad. Clearly Flitcroft's fault.
Flitcroft said at the forum its a collective responsibility so we know who to blame.
Flitcroft,Crosby,Schofield & Dunn ARE ALL TO BLAME.
Sack them all. Time to clean house.
Ultimately the onus on Carol to pull the trigger or she has to shoulder the blame for watching and doing nothing.
Here you go. Everything you need to know in one post. Perfect summary. Thanks MBE.

Abysmal wasn’t an option.
We only did business to replace like for like loans which look OK but the primary objective to sign a Striker and LWB, as stated by Flitcroft, failed miserably.
And the stated objective to sign a striker was made before Uche’s injury (I think)!
-
Is that right? We didn’t actually sign a striker?

Super post. Thank you!

I didn’t say I did NN. I’m just very wary of those who claim to speak for others.

I wonder if you know the true feelings of the majority? Do any of us? The echo chambers of fan sites may not be the full story.

We’ll end up with team we deserve?? What does that even mean? I’ve seen some shocking teams in my time at the Vale and I didn’t deserve any of them!
