I think Crosby would have kept us up. That’s how bad Moore has been.

Each to their own...there will be true Vale fans there, showing they still support the club. There will be others there to moan and groan, too, of course! It's always been so!
Mine are season tickets Tony so whether I'm there or not,the club still had my money up front. So "true fan"? What is the "true" definition? I'm staying away because I've had enough of the dross I've had to watch for 2 seasons...there's probably between 5 & 10 matches I've enjoyed.
Take Devine,Arblaster,Garrity and Chislett out and we'd have finished 10 points below Carlisle.
Grant,Massey,Ojo,Sang,Clark,Wilson...stealing a wage

Yes - he will! The true Vale fans will be there next match. The keyboard warriors from this season will be at home wondering which player, or Shanahan family member, to target this time?
I'm a true fan Tony but I wasn't at Wycombe and I won't be there next week.
We've lost 25 league games at home out of 45. My philosophy is if I'm not enjoying something I walk away.
Our owner has treated the fans atrociously and hidden away from it all.
Get rid of Moore...2 wins in 16,9 points out of 48. Dreadful

Who's more likely to have initiated a publicity stunt, him or Carol?
No idea, but either party could have said no.
Then the fans wouldn't feel publicly ridiculed. Unless you thought it was a good idea?

Vote with your feet next week.
A 2000 crowd will make Moore realize how poor a manager he is,the players understand they are not worth wasting your afternoon watching, and finally...Carol may actually realize how poorly she has treated the fans.

What difference would that make?
His publicity stunt tried to deflect the fact that we were in huge trouble. People at work asking me if he was taking over the club. Insulting patronizing act by Carol and El Presidente and he hasn't been seen since

We weren't in the bottom 4 when he came.
We've scored in 7 out of 16 games and he's managed 9 points out of 48.
Woeful

We've scored in 7 games out of 16 under Moore. His tactics are shocking. This will be 9 points out of 48

But that's always going to happen when you have no specialist full backs/wing backs because when whichever midfielder/ winger who is playing there usually gets beaten with ease then that drags the whole defence across to cover leaving masses of space behind and if the makeshift full back hasn't read it and gets in position to cover the back post then there is always going to be unmarked players if they are clever enough to find the space im not going to single out sang even though his highlights reel is woeful because most of the others that have had to play there have all made the same mistakes on the right and left all season
This happened when Clarke and Crosby were managers.
Not enough blocked crosses and it usually went all the way to the back post for a tap in

I think I counted 15, had to close my eyes while cringing for much of it though.
Not going to count how many points were dropped here as it’ll make me too angry at the negligent, incompetent recruitment over the last 18 months.
And Lewis Cass remains out on loan
Madness...

Moving from the Bycars to the Hamil.? changing pie manufacturer. Not employing an experienced CEO. Seems like everything is done Carols way with no thought process, experience or knowledge. As I’ve previously stated she needs to start interacting with the fans and I don’t mean paying them a lip service. It’s the fans who own the club all but in name. If she feels to do this is below her, then careful consideration should be given by regarding her position and selling the club. For me Carol has to be proactive in the summer transfer window and the team not to start entertaining the fans in the pitch. If there are no signs of either of these things by Christmas, then she definitely has to sell the club. Personally I don’t believe that the lady is for turning. So I’d like her to prove me and others of the same opinion, who are members of the Port Vale family, wrong.

When I post it is to offer an opinion or debate someone else's.
Carol did save the club but it appears as though she can do no wrong in her eyes. The silence is deafening.
I've been a Season Ticket holder on and off, contributed to Black and Gold financially and been watching Vale for over 50 years.
I won't be buying season tickets for my son and I because the team have lost 25 out of 45 home games and I've enjoyed less than 10 games.
Your home games are your bread and butter. A chance to attract the next generation.
The process seems to be to blood youngsters/sell players out of the academy. It isn't working.
I'm sure if you looked at every club in the league, all 92,there isn't one of them where all bar 3 players, are under contract next season. Absolute madness. Why bust a gut...simply remain injured ...you're getting paid next season too.
All under Carol's watch.

Ray you are barred. Far to many sensible posts for OVF.
Sending the letter out skating the fans deserves an apology
The transfer windows
The appointment of Flitcroft
Saying the players are phenomenal
The El Presidente fiasco
All mistakes under Carols watch
And this without mentioning the football

I said we were relegated the night we conceded 2 goals against Fleetwood. We've dropped far too many points against teams at the bottom and that's a recipe for disaster.
How sad it is that with more than 10 games left,I knew we were down.

Said it before
I'll say it again
He's made us worse
A manager comparable to Michael Brown
Dreadful

I'd genuinely say Bruno Ribeiros European dream team was better than this current squad.
Rigino Cicilia > Ryan Loft
Paulo Tavares > Funso Ojo
Ben Purkiss > Tom Sang
Jak Alnwick > Connor Ripley
Chris Mbamba > Gavin Massey
Okay, maybe not the last one.. Just.
Then add the likes of Jerome Thomas, Andre Bikey, Anthony Grant, Ryan Taylor, even Alex Jones.
Everyone of those would get into this current squad which shows how poor we really are.
Spot on
Ojo...poor mans Andreas Lipa
Well done Carol
You have overseen all of this
BTW,was El Presidente there tonight? Thought not...

10 losses out of 15
Well done Carol

Fair enough. However I am more interested in the business that I have invested my money in via a season ticket. And it's fair to say she hasn't been very good at doing this for the last two seasons

This is how I feel about Carol.
Insulted.
My son and I have STs. It's a pain to get to home games as I have an elderly relative who is very ill and due to working Monday-Friday,Saturday is the only time to visit. To commit to the team I run round to make it to the game. On Tuesdays we have to shop so it's a similar routine. Wolf some food down and rush to the game.
Carol appointed Flitcroft. The decision to move home fans to the Hamil would have gone ahead anyway, with or without a vote.
Carol is overheard saying our players are phenomenal. Flitcroft says publicly he hasn't considered relegation. Carol sacks the manager after the January window. Carol lets Flitcroft go. Carol appoints Moore,on a 5 year deal. Carol oversees the El Presidente fiasco. Carol sends a snotty condescending letter to the fans.
All these things, and more, have happened whilst she is the owner.
That's me done. I won't be running round like an idiot on Tuesdays and Saturdays. She doesn't deserve people to do this, whilst she seems to think burying her head in the sand is the answer.
I will look for the results but I feel absolutely empty after yesterday. The team have lost 24 home games out of 43 in this division. Iacovitti said pre match that when the crowd gets going it frightens the opposition. Does it? I don't think so.
Carol needs to apologise for mistake after mistake after mistake. I admire the diehard fans who will watch Vale whatever division they are in,but for me, yesterday was the final straw.
I haven't enjoyed being in this division watching the team lose every other week. It's depressing. The only person who thinks they are doing a good job is Carol.

Meanwhile Deklan Wynne is picking up his first week’s wages. Another example of us using resources well. We won’t see him in the squad this season, let alone in the starting 11. Whatever he is getting, it will be free money to him.
I think we signed him because it's the last time you will read Port Vale and Wynne in the same sentence this season.
Stanley Stalemate,Gary Goalless and David Draw have also been signed

You start by replacing Uche with like to like so loft not weir. Why on earth was he even playing weir up front he’s a midfielder & a poor one too. When they made their subs & started to boss the game we all knew a goal was coming. That is where a good manager earns his coin & reacts to it. So yes that is down tactics & in game management it’s not the first time he’s done it this is becoming a regular occurrence. Take nothing away from the players tho they lost their fight & as you said needed to show more character but they simply don’t have it in them
Cheltenham and Fleetwood are 2 other examples of poor game management
