Didn't the club use that excuse for why we had such a poor Jan and why we were so <ovf censored> in the second half of last season as well? When will the powers that be realise that the most important thing for football fans is what happens on the pitch?

I will get behind Loft everytime he's on the pitch. But if we are relying on him as our main striker, then we will be in League 2 next season.

I hope this doesn't upset Carol too much, but it's pointless sacking Crosby to make better signings. It's Flitcroft making the signings. They both need sacking if we want any real change. Sacking Crosby will just bring another scapegoat in for Flitcroft's constant failures. Sorry for being mean.

We really don't need any more kids unless they can come straight in like Blaster. We have been dragged into a relegation scrap. We are only out of the relegation zone because of points deductions. Untried kids cannot be thrown in to save us. But we've been told by the man in charge of things on the pitch that we can only afford kids on loan. I really worry we'll go down if Funso and Garrity are out for a while and we don't sign a real striker.

What worries me is that we just become Crewe. Happy to sell all our kids, playing tippy happy football, in a 'nice family environment'. We used to take the pıss out of them for this. Vale should have a bit of grit and needle. Away managers always used to say 'Vale Park is a horrible place to go'. We're becoming far too nice and detached from what I see us as. Yes it's nice that we're getting kids and families in, but we should also be a bit rough and ready. We had the balance exactly right in the promotion season, as you saw with the Swindon game. This season we have strayed too far away from our working class, edgy, a bit nasty roots. Everything that comes out of the club is controlled. The interviews with Alfie and Blaster, all geared towards us being a nice and friendly. The Boro game typified this.

Thanks for trying to sort it Rob. Had a nightmare the last few days, so I'm glad to see they recognise there's a problem. Tonight has been OK. A few times where its taken a 10 seconds or so to load things, but 10x better than the last few days.

Plymouth away last season was one of the best performances from a Vale defender for years. I love DJ. Strong as an ox, got a mistake in him, but is also capable of Beckham-esque long balls.
