  1. Only if the signing is registered by 12 noon. Same applies to any signing we make.
  2. If you think the Shanahans are in it to make money you are absolutely deluded. Why should we sign a striker like Cole Stockton who hasn’t scored a league goal this season? And football is fun because I get to have a good laugh at the **** some folk post on here. And that is opinion so feel free to argue
  3. If he's defrauded a Chinese bank out of £770 million, how come his kneecaps are still intact?!! Thanks very much for explaining the situation, Clyde. I very much hope your club is saved.
  4. When is he meeting? He is in Parliament this morning responding to the Culture, Media and Sport Committee.
  5. Could the League remove the golden share and make it difficult for the club to operate in the league then hand the golden share back to the new owners? Probably talking rubbish.
  6. Donations from Reading now in excess of £7k. They have paid for Rudgie’s left leg!!
  7. Dai Yongge has had another fine imposed on him for failing to provide the money the EFL asked to cover wages. He now owes them £80k. Meeting about Saturday’s events will be later this week.
  8. Massive respect to the Reading fans for what they have done and thank you to all of those who have accompanied their donation with an apology to the Vale fans who travelled.
  9. Yongge wanted to take over Hull City but the Premier League said he failed their fit and proper test so he bought Reading instead and the EPL passed him.
  10. Outstanding response from the Reading fans to the Rudgie statue appeal. Well over £2,000 from them now. Thanks very much lads and lasses.
  11. Not in the upper away section it wasn’t. Three ladies toilets, two of which had no accessible toilet paper and the only one that did had no lock on the door. More Northern Premier League!!
  12. You didn’t go either did you, Joe? We got rid of V2001 and Smurf without ever interfering with what went on on the pitch or hitting away fans in the pocket.
  13. I believe we tried to sign Knibbs in the summer but he went to Reading. I don’t imagine it was because of his love of picturesque Berkshire.
  14. I was talking to one of their fans after the game and he was as pissed off with their fans as we were. He said that they forget the owner has put millions on the club in recent years.
  15. The whole point is that the club knew this was going to happen. Reading fans were talking about it in the week before the match. All the tennis balls came from the same area of the pitch yet absolutely no attempt was made to prevent access to the pitch from that area. They had nets there which had been used in the pre-match kick off which could have been put there but were just laid down on the ground. The club deserve condemnation for their inaction. That area of the ground should be closed for future games. And Vale should be given all the points which the EFL deducts from Reading!
  16. But what value does the stadium have unless planners allow change of use? And where would Reading play then?
  17. Why would anyone pay that much for a League One club on the cusp of collapse? It’s barely worth a couple of quid.
  18. Good luck, Tom. Hope all goes well for you in the Boundary Park refrigerator!
