  1. I’d say park the bus, but we’re not even taking them down now.
  2. I’m going, but I need help from 33 others. I have a message written out on individual placards to hold up. I’ll do F, but I need: UCK OFF FLITCROFT YOU BRAZEN CHARLATAN I suppose 15 helpers would do at a push.
  3. Moore must have known relegation was a distinct possibility, surely he can't walk if we do go down as: His career will be on the downslide and he'll need to restore it to get a decent job He'll look insincere if he signs a really long deal then walks away (as I don't think he'll be sacked.) So what are people's thoughts on the chances that he will be our manager should we go down? I am not personally going to judge his performance until he's had a significant number of games under his belt having had the chance to shape his own team. I hope he gets the chance to do that whatever league we are in. I don't think we can even look at his tactics / formations / subs too much at this stage as in all seriousness, what can he do? It'll only change when he brings players in to play the style he wants and he is responsible for managing them having had direct input.
  4. Massey isn't bad going forward. He rarely loses the ball and puts some nice crosses in, In a 433 he would be ok. It's just as wingback it's too much, as with most of the other players we have who have been asked to play in that position.
  5. Ripley Debrah Smith Lopata Yak Sang Ojo Garrity Weir Chislett Mighten
  6. Derby have no strikers and lost to crackpot Charlton.
  7. I think we need to be smart here. Ripley Barbed wire fence Sang Debrah Smith Lopata Ojo Yak Grant Moat of lava guard Jaguar ------------------------------------------------------------------------- < 18 yard box
  8. scored the least amount of goals in the league in the last 6.
  9. played once at home against these, beaten them once. we can do it again.
  10. We need at least 8 points from the Fleetwood and Shrewsbury games to cushion us for games like Derby, Wigan etc. then a minimum of 11 points from Cambridge, Bristol Rovers and Exeter. That’ll be 50 and the rest we can lose.
  11. Like most other players, a victim of the silly billy formations.
  12. Smith is better, more useful and more resilient than Grant, Lowe, Jones, Massey, Loft, Uche, Sang, and probably others. We have other priorities.
  13. Lad come back and take Lowe’s place.
  14. If we lose tomorrow then we'll need Wilson to step up like last season in the last last last last chance saloon at Pride Park.
  15. The attitude of the players is so frustrating because the fixtures are in our favour! At home: Cambridge, Exeter, inconsistent Bristol Rovers, sliding Oxford, Fleetwood, Shrewsbury. You really couldn't ask for a better home fixtures going in to the last 1/4. Couple with that beatable Burton and already beaten Wigan and Northampton away. 18th with 49 points last year: that means we need 6 wins, 8 losses to equal that again.
  16. Charlton have got 3 in a row away from home, but then Fleetwood and Carlisle back to back. We are looking at needing to beat Fleetwood and Shrews to stand a chance now.
  17. Can you give it to circa 16 game Arblaster? I imagine it'll be Garrity should he get a few before the end of the season.
  18. Unless the opponent is intentionally ‘blocking’ the free kick from being taken, there is no foul. It was our choice to take it quickly, and we selected to kick it straight to them. No foul play, just a gift.
  19. If he knew Ripley was coming out and he took it anyway, that’s really unprofessional. It is a disregard for your team mate and lack of unity. Hopefully it was just a comical error that won’t be repeated.
  20. The crowd was up for it, I’m sure the players had been told ‘now or never’ and all that. But then the first few minutes was deflating. From there an average L1 side just had to keep their shape and pass the ball back and forth with no real threat. Let’s not forget they had no shots on target that I saw. In a different world I really think we would have matched them and ground out 3 points. Despite our mistakes and clear drawbacks, they didn’t have to do anything. Whether they could have done more, we will never know. These things happen when everything is going against us.
  21. At the risk of lol emoji bombardment: Massey is no RWB, but as a right sided forward with an out and out RB behind him he is much more of an attacking threat. He crosses and links up quite well, but as with everyone in that 532 nonsense he was expected to do everything. I’d give him a go over Weir because he looks like another premier league academy player that in the real world is a L2 sub.
  22. Ripley 6 made a meal of the little he had to do Sang 8 did 80% of the work of both flanks. No support, defending and attacking. No wonder he’s flapping his arms half the time. Smith 5 shaky and too slow for a CB 2 Debrah 6 not much to do really, a few little moments of worry Jones 4 terrible going forward and back Lowe 4 offers nothing at all Ojo 5 if he could play as well as he whines he’d be anchoring Man City. Another going through the gears. Weir 5 lightweight, unsure, no threat whatsover Garrity 7 having to carry the ball, win the ball, pass, shoot and tackle Chiz 6 totally isolated and again doing the jobs of 2 at least Wilson 6 can’t do anything alone because he’s too slow. Give him a partner who is L1 standard and we’ll actually see the real him.
  23. Weir back into Lowe’s position. Planty on to attack where Weir was. Mighten, Lopata, Clark, Gore. All starters, all missing. Story of the season so far.
  24. Charlton Portsmouth Reading Shrewsbury we could be looking at jumping out today. If we can just bring the old 1-0 tradition back from early doors, this could be a MASSIVE turning point.
