PVFC Meet delegation of fans regarding current concerns

So thats the agenda agreed then. I look forward to the next instalment. will the measure of success against this be objective, or unilaterally decided by Carol as per assessment of DF’s performance? -
Any prediction from the coaches wives on this one?

To be fair he is an unattached striker…… -

The issue is if they are in the first team then they will be judged - rightly or wrongly. Feel for all the youngsters who would be better placed in the Northern Prem / National League to allow them to develop physically and professionally without being thrust into a relegation battle because of DF’s failings. -

The vast majority were also out of contracts so were playing for their own livelihoods also - he did however come up with a system that (eventually) became effective -

Loft Jones and Willo all injured! -
Was there not another impromptu motivational ‘open mike’ slot last night? Phenomenal don’t you know!!!🤪

And DC dared to say we had a poor one which certainly helped ‘see his card marked’

Sadly over the last 3 windows we have gone backwards not forwards

She never is - the whole stadium is wrong of course, but never Carol

…….or realistic I would say. I will still be there, but many of the Wembley generation will be lost

If there is not major change and goals/ pace added the National League will be a genuine worry!
-
Absolutely deluded - next job likely to be Chairperson of the Flat Earth Society! Tears either to curry favour, or the realisation that £10m+ spent will see us back exactly where we started (but with an even worse squad that could take us straight through to the National League if we’re not careful). Has systematically removed everyone at the club who dared to have an opinion that was not the same as hers, and surrounded herself with yes men. Colin Garlick probably the most cynical of these where we had Carols ‘spin’ as to why we did not need a Chief Exec, only to appoint Matt Hancock to the role little over 12months later. The comment that she takes the new coaches wife’s word that we will be alright, rather than the fans view that things are very very wrong speaks volumes! All the ‘togetherness’ that Carol takes credit for was fostered by DC’s personality and relationship with the fans, which was further galvanised by his tragic loss. I do not blame her for having to part ways with DC, but I do for appointing AC to the role with no other candidates considered despite losing 3 of his 4 games in charge at the end of last season. DF is culpable, but has been allowed to go about his work seemingly unchallenged. Carol is ultimately accountable as the owner, but is blind to the situation and unable to accept any blame, as clearly demonstrated in the open letter, this rant, and other interactions at forums, when she just tells us what we should think! In summary, 5 years in, back in the same place, £10m+ down the drain, worse squad, no paddock toilets, fan base divided at best and totally disengaged at worst, but we do have the RW suite, everyone says we are nice and we make a good packed lunch for the community! ps at least I got my OBE👍

The lad has something, but from a development perspective would be better at Leek Town or somewhere similar getting game time / goals and a few whacks to get him ready to play a part next season
-
Maybe someone like Colin Garlick could give her some sound counsel………..
-
Agreed……if he’s only playing 45 minutes😉

Based on points take with DC at the helm they probably are top 10 - averaging around 1.5 points per game -
Exactly. Just like DC did when he landed before the ‘deadwood’ clear out and promotion.
-
Even if they do, they will have made a hell of a fist of it. They were dead and buried when he took over Exactly! I mean, it’s not like he will have only had 35 games to get his 50 points / borderline play off form or picked up a team who hadn’t even scored a goal before his arrival or anything! Clearly needed a break from the game, but looks all the better for it.
-
Exactly, but we haven’t been able to sign one! Most decent centre backs have more than that. DC did manage to go out and ge5 them through his own contacts / personality / bond with the players named.
