How can we go from a bit of positivity at half time to that second half showing? We are clearly unfit, lacking bottle, nervous as hell and bereft of any leadership or composure. Every time they had a few sustained attacks we literally s**t ourselves and just invited them back on to us.

Tom Sang / Dan Jones are going to get absolutely murdered by Mendez Laing on Saturday. I dread to think what will happen. How many crosses did they put in? Must have been nearly 100.

CAN WE STOP PLAYING JASON LOWE. OR BRINGING HIM ON TO SEE THE GAME OUT.

Have we ever been battered as much as we were in that second half?

Sickening. As I said, as soon as it went 2-1 it would be inevitable.

Clearly a team full of nerves and lacking in belief. Starting to sit off. Please don’t let it go 2-1. Then the inevitable will happen.

The most pleasing thing about that first half was that we played football that we can get behind, more of a Port Vale style. We’ve tried to play in their half and get the ball forward when possible. We’ve shown desire, energy, got in their faces and defended simply. Much better than the pedestrian football of this season.

Fair play to Dipepa. I moaned when I saw that he was starting and he shouldn’t be starting in a League One team yet. However, he’s shown more energy, desire, composure and confidence than any of our strikers have shown in ages. He can leave the pitch tonight knowing he gave his all, whilst also offering the team something. That’s all we ask.

Never a penalty! But we’ll take it! Get in! Much improved this half - lots more energy and spirit. Just got to do it for another 45 mins.

I’d rather Mighten or Massey upfront.

That lineup sums up where we are. Just random players picked out of a hat. No idea of formation. Plus a young lad (who’s clearly no where near ready) leading the line.

Dipepa starting. Crazy.

Whatever we may think about the current situation, we’ve got to put it to one side on match days and get behind the team. Everything will be ten times worse if we were to go down. We must stay up. Do our bit. That’s all we can do. I’ve moaned enough in the last few weeks (and will probably be moaning again at 5). However, they’re our team, let’s support them and after all we’re a better club to support in League One, rather than League Two.

Wilson is a damn site better than Loft. We don’t stay up if Loft starts every game instead of Wilson. It’s now up to Moore to get something out of Wilson for the remainder of the season.

Still yet to see Jason Lowe pass forward from midfield. He’d be no where near the starting eleven of any other League One team. Same for Loft, Sang, Smith, Massey, Jones, Grant, I could go on and on.

And whilst we’re at it can we get rid of the d**k head test and actually sign some d**k heads? I’d rather some characters in our team than a squad full of the nicest people in the world. Only Garrity and Ripley are winners and will fight for the shirt. The rest are why we are where we are. I wouldn’t want to be in the trenches with any of them. The club from top to bottom is too nice and it’s reflecting on the pitch.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Moore walks before the end of the season if it carries on like this. He’s risking his reputation being ruined and has probably realised that this is a bigger job than he first thought. Whatever the case I can’t see him being with us in League Two. There will be a clause in his contract no doubt. This is Port Vale we’re talking about. The one club where these type of things happen. One normal season, please.

I don’t think Moore will be with us next season.

We can all say Loft did okay and worked hard, but yet again he never looks like scoring and offers no threat.

We are slower and weaker than every other team in the league.

We did okay for about 70 minutes but if you can’t keep a clean sheet and don’t look like scoring then it’s a recipe for disaster.

Been okay, nothing more. Probably about as good as we can expect at the minute. Haven’t really looked like scoring again, but also haven’t looked like conceding. Looked like we could have created more if the final pass or move was better.

There’s clearly massive disdain and also apathy in some cases towards the club. The positivity of the Moore appointment seems to have gone in less than a week. We desperately need a few wins from somewhere to settle things down. All of this just stinks of relegation sadly.

Had our win there last year. Lighting won’t strike twice. Guaranteed thrashing here. I’ll self combust when we’re 4-0 down and finishing the game with Loft and Dipepa upfront, Lowe holding the midfield, Mighten at wing back and Dan Jones about to concede his 6542nd free kick of the game. We’ll probably go there and win now I’ve said all of that!

We don’t create any chances that’s the problem. Whether that’s the strikers, the midfield, the build up from the back or tactics I’m not sure. It’s probably a combination of them all. I’d be more confident if our strikers were missing chances or we were peppering the opposition goal. We’re lucky if our strikers have one shot between them a game. I don’t think I’ve even seen Loft have a chance. He creates absolutely zero for himself and offers no threat but it’s not as if we’re helping him out much. As for Mighten, at least he will offer something more going forward. The rest are too safe and boring.
