  1. God this is dire. I feel sorry for Moore for the squad he’s inherited, I really do.
  2. No not saying that, but he wanted to get involved and consequently the guy had an open net.
  3. But this is what happens when you have a goalie that wants to get too involved in play.
  4. Agree bar the implication of the last comment. This isn’t Moore’s mess. He’s got to somehow cobble together a team to get results. Before he came, it was 3 wins in 25, so it’s not like he has tools at his disposal. In the absence of “the new manager bounce” which was always unlikely with our mish-mash squad, my worry is that it’s Huddersfield all over for him… a dark cloud hanging over the club which he can’t shake off to get us going, and inevitably ends with a parting of the ways. Hope I’m wrong as I did/do think he was the best pick of everyone that was mentioned.
  5. Like Cheltenham and numerous others, it all goes to sh!t in the final quarter. Haven’t had iFollow because I knew we wouldn’t get anything. We are a poor side, a horrible mish-mash of players “who can do a job” which is very much reminiscent of the Bruno/Brown mess from our last foray into L1. I seem to recall we were flying high early doors then and then our form dropped off a cliff after an horrendous January window. And hey presto…. Moore hasn’t a hope in Hell in salvaging this season. I sort of feel sorry for him, the rot has well and truly set in and it can be very difficult to stop. If anyone can see where 7 wins are coming from then they’re a better person than me.
  6. I still don’t believe it’s not a back 3 (I’m not watching on iFollow btw). I need evidence!!!! 😂
  7. Right up to the point he said Povey’s oatcakes. Got to be High Lane 🤔
  8. I wouldn’t say it’s as a bad a window as that one when we literally sold the Crown Jewels, but I’m really struggling to believe that we haven’t signed a LWB, or striker and moved Loft on, as it just hasn’t worked for him here. I think, unnecessarily, we can look forward to another similar end to last season. Is it me, or does anyone else get the feeling we are ‘playing for time’ until something happens i.e. a really big move for one of the youngsters, a ‘Robbie’ takeover or some other capital injection into the club. It feels again to be a case of our aspirations being nothing more than getting the right side of the red line come May and ‘going again’ rather than trying to establish ourselves as a solid mid table side which we can then try & build on. Maybe this is all we can afford to do??
  9. Ok. So irrespective of whether this turns out to be a masterstroke or the biggest damp squib since squibs became damp, we have…. ….signed someone in and around the Manchester United first team. Again, that’s Manchester United. Now they may be an utter shambles at the moment, but this is still one of the three/four biggest clubs in the world. I have been as critical of Flitcroft as anyone and we’ve had some shockers in the transfer windows he’s masterminded, but credit where it’s due as this shows we are seen as good place for the young talent of the top clubs. Anyway, welcome Dan and keep off that treatment table!!! 🙏
  10. Back on the topic of Stoke / Nathan Jones 🤣🤣🤣😂😂:
  11. You would have thought Nathan Jones ought to have avoided anything painted in Red & White stripes like the plague after his last experience.
  12. And to think Stoke fans were saying they wanted Potter to replace MoN….. 😂😂🤣🤣
  13. Gutted that Michael ‘Mid-table’ has gone. This has Dyche’s name all over it. Remains to be seen if he can ‘do it’ at another club.
  14. BJS was never going to win, he didn’t have the power to trouble Canelo (demonstrated by less than half his win being ko’s) and flicking out jabs hoping for a points win was, frankly, a daft strategy because we all know which way the cards will go (two had Canelo four rounds up at the time of the stoppage which was, shall we say, a touch generous). Can’t really argue with the corner for waiving it off after a pretty horrific injury, which maybe might teach BJS a bit of humility after his ridiculous pre-fight ramblings and the slating he gave Dubois. It was interesting to see 73,000 people in an indoor arena, good job we’re not in the midst of a pandemic.
  15. Did you guys watch the same fight as me??? Whilst it wasn't technically the best, it was a proper slug-fest in parts and totally gripping throughout. Admittedly a little cringeworthy at the end but at least Haye had the good grace not to blame his injury this time, although there's no denying it had a massive bearing on the result. Certainly better than some of the more recent big PPV offerings. I don't think Bellew would beat Wilder mind.
