I sat in the Paddock yesterday totally disinterested in the game as the whole set up on and off the pitch stinks of hypocrity and mediocrity. The condition of the portaloos prior to entering the ground leaves a lot to be desired. There is no spine to the team, literally, no cohesion with themselves nor the fans. The club has gone from a position of positive strength to one of despair and eventual ruin (again). "All fur coat no knickers", total hypocricy, abject performance and desire. There could be financial reasons behind this capitulation in virtually all that was the 'new' Port Vale under the Shanahans, but if this were the case DM would not be here (Who also sadly does not inspire me sadly). Only one way this club is heading at the moment and we all know where that is - well those of us who do actually care. Sad, very sad. Bad decision follows bad decision, delusional ethics, motives and planning. Rant over, see you next home game for more of the same.... but maybe not next season. May be 48 years and out for me.

Yep, spot on this. The place in starting to look at right dump with discarded white goods at the back of the Hamil, the concourse of the Hamil a complete mess, disgusting with no one bothering to put bins for bottles, used teabags etc, staff in the serving areas, staff just utterly gormless and sauntering around with big queues at HT, I could go on. They really have picked a bad time to be sending a match day survey based on yesterday because they might not like the answers.

Mate u have posted negative stuff all season please don’t start on next year yet

  3. Why aren’t the players reacting?? It is because they don’t really know what to do?? They just don’t care as most will be off in the Summer?? They are ahot of confidence? Other reasons?

Oxford made the game very simple yesterday. They played in triangles and had people who were able to run with the ball. They were also better than us at set pieces at both ends of the pitch.

I would definitely change things (again) for Burton as that clearly didn’t work yesterday.

    Ripley

    Smith-Debrah-Kasper-Yak

    Massey-Garrity-Ojo-Mighten

    Loft-Wilson

We need a Pulis-style mentality / set-up now, a clear plan is getting the ball forward and battling for 2nd balls or wide and balls into the box. Nothing fancy. Yes, 4 CB’s across the back line as Mighten did nothing defensively yesterday. For all his detractors, at least chased and looked like he might boot someone.

Because the players will be phenomenal in division 2 🤔😬🤣

Obviously a lot can happen in the Summer, but as I sit here now I’d put us firmly amongst the L2 relegation favourites next year.

  5. I’d like to know what the purpose of the whole “El Presidente” was. If the intention was to invest and/or attract investment, then it’s failed miserably and again made us look an absolute laughing stock. Wrexham we certainly ain’t.

Can someone give me a good reason, why I should buy a Season ticket next year?

    Currently lost the faith....

    I can’t if I’m honest.

  7. I’ll be honest, I was a very strong advocate of Moore. He’s got a decent record of turning teams round. He’s actually been flogging a dead horse. In hindsight, I’m starting to think he’s the right man at the wrong time. Still, it’s not like he’s got another 5 yrs on his contract……….oh.

League one , league two or Vanarama ? 🤔

We joke, but that wasn’t even League 2 standard today. I think a National League team would have beaten us today. Horrible performance and if that’s a sample, we’ll be in trouble next year as well. An absolute disgrace of a performance.

Honestly, I think I’d stick the youth team out now, perhaps persevering with Ojo & Garrity and maybe Ripley & Debrah.

The teams today were poles apart. They were no great shakes but were quicker and more determined, had a clear idea of what they were doing, played quick little triangles to beat “the press” (haha) create space and run at us. Pretty simple really. We couldn’t (be @rsed to) do the basics like tracking / following runners and it could - sorry should - have been 5 or 6. It wasn’t actually a contest really after the now customary goal off a corner. And, I’ll remind you, their form has been shocking. But hey, we all knew Vale would help out in that regard didn’t we??

I’ve said before but everything about the club looks a mess, in fact, you could be forgiven for thinking Smurthwaite was back running the show. The fans have taken to more & more sarcastic chanting.

My support for Moore - and this is still not his mess - has however been shaken today, such was the nature of the performance. I felt the team actually looked reasonably balanced at the start, and was hopeful we’d follow up the “success” at Orient with another solid performance today. How wrong was I.

Do we even work on defending set plays?? Why did the players look like they were running through treacle compared to Oxford?? Why were we so comprehensively outplayed that he felt it necessarily to make a double-substitution 5 mins before HT (I’ve have gone triple actually and got Jones off as well).

Dan Jones game one of the memorable fullback performances, for all the wrong reasons. Lowe was exposed for what he is….a player that was released by a struggling L2 side. Debrah, so right-footed it beggars belief why is is played on the left, Massey was never in the game, Mighten was busy and threatening but defensively awful, Wilson trying to do it all himself, Chislet running around like a headless chicken….. I could go on. But I won’t, I’m starting to bore myself now.

I’m eagerly awaiting some sort of statement, comment, whatever because something is clearly amiss behind the scenes, it’s got to be.

Firstly, I’ve already stated that Darrell Clarke was the glue that held this club together.

Secondly, you can’t say we would “definitely” have more points of Crosby stayed. His run was just as abysmal. He’s a PE teaching manager.

Thirdly, before Huddersfield, Moore had a superb record. He walked into a car crash there. He’s walked into one here.

And finally, John Rudge is <ovf censored> 80 years old mate.

    Get a grip.

All this mess is down to one man. His name is David Flitcroft.

The only thing I take exception to is that Moore has walked away from a car crash and into a plane crash.
