Young James Plant. Older than the other youngsters and yes further advanced but dont expect miracles. We are giving him the chance to learn from his mistakes. So far almost nil assists and several mistakes at the back admittedly playing out of position. Also have to add that i would play him in front of anyone else we currently have at LWB. Shows how poor our unbalanced squad is. -

WOW Get behind D M yes but if he plays as D F wants him to then we are doomed. I want D M to sort it out for us but he has no chance with this squad and the way D F wants us to play -

NOTHING different whatsoever today. Not even the fight and passion. Did you see Cheltenham and D C. Full of it they were and it shows. Certain to remain in div 1 -

Its a great appointment ? I think you are right and i really hope so. The problem is D.F. He is our problem at the club and so long as he remains, we will struggle. He is a poor D of F. If we really wanted and needed a D of F then Carol should have advertised and seen who / what was available and not be taken in by a two hour telephone conversation with a football manager applying for another position -

True We have the worst back three in the league We have the worst front two in the league Now that Devine and Arblaster have gone back [ why do we have loan players ] we have a very weak midfield. Our recruitment has been awful. Dont care what the wage bill is , we have a worse squad than last year. Worral, Benning, Pett [ now that loan players have gone back ], a back three player, or two, two strikers, ALL giving us a squad so poor , even compared to last year let alone an improvement. IF Darren Moore plays under the influence of Flitcroft i will pack in i think. FLITCROFT has to go Carol you have got it wrong. Flitcroft is not gods gift to PVFC -

Was Crosby in charge today ? New manager Same team and same formation Same subs Worst of all SAME EFFORT and PASSION. Not good enough !!! Same poor quality from too many players. Not a chance of retaining our div 1 place -
100% FLITCROFT MUST GO NOW

Systems, formations, positions, etc etc. There are plus's and negatives for them all. Its down to the players on the pitch. Last nights team were awful. Players dont deserve another chance but they will have to play again. Shocking performance by so many : Debra Lowe Sang Weir Shorrock Wilson Loft Do have to agree that to make us stand stronger in defence a back four is best. Smith is our best defender / fighter by far and yet the management team of Flitcroft and Crosby and the tactics we employ have certainly ruined him as a player. He has always fought for the team and given hi all. He is not the best footballer by a long way but we knew what we would get. Iacovitti, Balmer, Debra, Lowe, Kopata, Jones have all been brought in as a replacement for Smith and yet not one of them are a better player. Smith and any one of them others playing in the center of a back four would make us stronger for the remaining games and MIGHT give us a chance to stay up. Still need to sort out the midfield 4 and two strikers., thats another one to solve.... Really dont know why i bother. Until Flitcroft goes it will never happen. I cannot see Flitcroft going until Carol also says shes had enough and puts the club up for sale. -

Carol told us herself. I think she said she has spent in 3 years what she had planned for 4. Since then, we spend only what we generate. What i dont understand, from the meeting two weeks ago, it still seemed that all was going to plan. Well how do we expect to raise even more money for next seasons player budget when this season we have seen RW suite opened, excellent shop sales, decent season ticket levels, fan zone and hamil road revenue, revenue from young player sales. We now know we need money for toilets and whatever else so how can we increase player wage budget, Where does Carol see extra revenue ? -

Yes. Sang had to start. He is possibly the only replacement for Ojo. I hoped for Sang and Gore but when i saw Lowe and Weir - oh no i thought Grant is this seasons worst signing. Purely because everyone ' hoped ' for a decent footballer. He is left footed and thats about it. Dreadful defender. Need to get rid. Shorrock possibly good for 45 mins a game but better than what we put out today. Worst of all. Watching and reading about our new players i see this : Mighten is ideally placed as competition for Chislet and only Chislet.... Weir is competition for Wilson only. They are attacking midfield players and certainly not a LWB or defensive mid player -

Lost fan base = lost revenue. How do we improve our playing budget. We already have decent support / ticket sales, excellent shop sales, a new hospitality matchday venue, huge number of hospitality boxes, ground advertising. How do we improve all of this next season, whether in div 1 or div 2 -

Yes to some extent i would go with this. Pity he doesnt have the balls to be more open about our budget and money available. One question though. When DF refused to speak after a " fan " questioned the possibility of relegation, if we are relegated where do Carol and the directors believe the money will be coming in from. How will we be able to build on this seasons playing budget, let alone staff budget. What will be cut first. Will we still be able to attract the top prospects in the country. What benefits will this bring to Port Vale. We have had them this year and relegation still looms. What benefit have we had this year. -

We would still get the opening question ... "" Carol O.B.E. Would you still buy a football club, knowing what you know now " Wont bother to repeat the answer. Anyone would think it was staged.? -

Sorry Osh just my sense of humour. I understand everyone has their own thoughts and have every right to. Understand we all get upset too after poor performances.
