Crosby told he local media: “There was interest in Uche from Charlton. A transfer fee which was in the (contract) was met by Charlton which enabled the player to go and speak to them and… for whatever reason that deal didn’t get concluded.”I’m just not sure if it’s been confirmed by anyone at the club- 1

He went down for a medical.....Do we really know Charlton were signing uche though don’t forget same day we were signing Jake young according to some

We are now left hanging all our hopes on James Wilson.
A player Flitcoft saw fit to release last Summer, only to resign him when he failed to deliver any other strikers.
Could make it up....
And don't get me started about wing-backs......at least our recruitment team look 3 windows I'm advance and have identified replacements ready and waiting- 2

I always try and stay positive, but my patience has failed me this morning.
Our recruitment team 'apparently' work 2 to 3 windows in advance.
Yet the players we sign all talk about suprise and how quick the move goes through.
We sign a last minute CB to replace the lad from Liverpool we returned as there were issues. (What happens to the due diligence on player Flitcoft talks about?)
We sign a quality winger, but don't play wingers (please god don't play him LWB like the other wingers constantly shoehorned in that position)
We needed a LWB, the formation we are wedded to relies on them. We've only got Grant with his injury issues.
We needed a striker before Uche got injured, we are desperate for one now and are completely dead in the water if/when Willo gets injured.
Don't forget Uche was off to Charlton, so replacements should have been identified and lined up. Which is what Flitcroft would have us believe.
Flitcroft (in his full-time position) has repeatedly failed to deliver when needed to the most. He has to now be held accountable for his failing.
If we get relegated, the blame lies firmly at his door.- 13

There is no chance they could keep it quiet, news would have broken from the selling club last night.I'm giving them till midday today. I'm sure as long as your paperwork was filed by 11 last night the ratification can follow.
I'm hoping in the face of overwhelming evidence that Flitcroft has done his job and got us someone and it's just held up at the FA.
Think we're all in denial, reality is the club has failed again to bring in a striker or LWB.
We are now in a very real relegation battle.
Well done the recruitment team, all that hard word undone.- 4

Not alot....I have seen, heard and been told enough by different people to not trust Clarke at all. But what do I know? -
This is spot on....Just finished listening... its clearly something that is very painful for Tom.
He sounds like someone who knows the game has moved on past the style of player he was and is struggling to accept it.
Sounds like dealing with Askey did a real number on him mentally. Whether that has impacted him to the point of being in such a bad place he cant come to peace with the way things ended I don't know.
Case in point... "Flickers was brilliant and I recommended to everyone that they get him on board... hen he didn't ask me my opinions on players so now I hate him." Doesn't feel like a proportionate response to me.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion on people though and Tom is more than entitled to his given its his truth... Pinch of salt on his ability to judge someone maybe given 2 people he had positive things to say about were Norman and Artell
Tom is clearly hurting, its a shame his pain has turned to bitterness.
