Cambridge looked doomed last season after sinking in to the relegation zone and then turned it around doing a greater escape than we could make, winning their last game of the season. They will think they will do it again.

Same can be said for the other 2 defenders we started with today.

Not a chance. Musselwhite was OK but Neale, Ripley, Stowell were better keepers and Goodlad is the best keeper I’ve seen in 40 years of watching the Vale.

1 goal and 1 assist, he has the best ratio of all our strikers. He should start, certainly until Uche is fully fit .

Maybe, maybe not. Carols own admission, she doesn’t know much about the Football side so perhaps she needs a DOF to take charge of that side. It’s a shame Garlick has gone as he could have slotted nicely in to the role. We need a good recruitment team so perhaps this needs to be updated.
