Will Carol mind if gates are down, as long as people aren’t protesting against our DOF?

I’ll vote now as my season is over now, done for the season, gets me wound up too much watching this <ovf censored>…Flitcroft has Carol in his pocket and is ruining the great work and investment she has put in to the club. I don’t think Moore was the right appointment but he has a nearly impossible task with the squad Flitcroft has given him.

No where to be seen, not in the box when we had it down the line, very isolated and his first touch every time it came near him was naff, once again he has not had a shot on target, in fact I can’t remember him having a shot.

Really don’t see what you see in Loft, he was <ovf censored> again tonight. But 100% agree with your other comments bar last chance Saturday….we are down, even if we win on Saturday.

You’re making excuses for Moores <ovf censored> substitutions that have cost us the game once again- Grant should never have come on at left back, for a tired Mighten, maybe but not for Jones.

We have the Yak on the bench, isn’t he a defender? Grant is a winger not a left back.

Why take Mighten off, our best goal threat tonight? Why take Jones off and replace him with a winger? Why take Chislett off? Why is Lowe on the pitch? Loft lasted too long, done nothing Anyway- 0-0 up until the subs, and within 9 minutes after Moore’s inspired substitutions we are 2-0 down. Sold down the river again by DF, Moore will take us down and we are stuck with him for 5 years.

Playing a bit better but lacking any threat up front bar Mighten and a bit panicky at times in defence. Hoping we get a win if not to give the team some confidence, it does seem to be lacking.

There was also a case on Saturday where Loft won the ball well, was through, Chislett left it for him, he then has a bad touch which allowed the defence to get back and then aired his shot. Can’t fault for effort, but his ability on the ball is lacking. We need to loan him out asap in the hope he regains some football ability and gains confidence, of which both are sadly lacking.

Plenty. Over the games both Grant and Sang have put some good balls in to the box but when he has ever been there?

Don’t think it’s Wilson can’t be arsed, I think it’s more his legs have gone, plus our distribution to the forwards ain’t good.

Already said…..I’d have Mighten up front with Chislett playing a number 9. Not sure about Mighten playing up front but I’m pretty sure he will be more of a threat than Loft plus Chislett game in, game out is more of a goal threat than Wilson so let’s get him in that position.

That’s the problem with so many of our fans- run around a lot, give 100% but no quality, no threat, hopeless at holding the ball up and poor distribution and they are our best players.

Problem is, some of our round pegs don’t fit the round holes they are meant to. I do agree, playing players out of position is not ideal and should be avoided but due to bad recruitment we have been left with 2 strikers which neither are playing well enough to justify their place and if we continue to play these 2 as they are the only ones then we will continue to get the same results, which is a return of 3 goals in over 60% of the season gone by.

Although Mighten’s usual position is on the wing he has played as a striker previously. So, what you are saying - Loft is our only Striker so he must start every game?

I could put a Vale shirt on and give 100% effort. Doesn’t mean I should be playing. He did put the effort in and made some good challenges, problem is, he is a striker and not once did he threaten the defence.

Loft put lots of effort in , made some good challenges but ineffective, one shot on goal, a 39 yarder which was as close to the corner flag than the goal - as soon as he got booked, the challenges stopped and he was invisible again. Loft is not the answer, one goal for us all season and doesn’t hold the ball up well. Agree, that Wilson was not in the game at all on Saturday, don’t think he had 5 touches of the ball all game and agree he also should be dropped to the bench. 3 goals between the pair of them this season, yet we continue with the pair of them- if we continue to do so, then we resign ourselves to division 2 next season.
