People lauding how much Carol has put into the club should also be questioning where the money has gone and why. Because it's her decisions that have given us the worst and most pathetic bunch of players in recent memory, and handed a manager that was laughed out of Huddersfield a 5 year contract.
Whatever you think of her intentions, she's shown herself to be a complete liability. I genuinely believe if she was a bloke and not a soft spoken elderly woman who smiles a lot and gives thumbs up to the cameras she would get much more widely criticised and questioned.
Elderly? Still of working age.

have we got no scouting network then? How were players being identified and brought in?
On the club site Tommy Johnson is shown as the Recruitment Manager so the scouts would report to him.

He is clueless .
He as lost us majority of games since coming in
Even when we have played well he hasn't made sure we have won games 2 nil up v Fleetwood and Exeter yet all the players need be told is no mistakes no dropping back keep doing what you doing
I've got say if we relegated which is very likely now I don't see how folk can want him continue in the job he as failed .
We might not be a big club but we don't have to keep on performing like a very small one
What does he do at 2 -0 up v Exeter yesterday in that changing room because whatever he said as got us relegated .
I cannot quite believe it and for making a happy person unhappy he can go ply is his trade elsewhere .
As for what he said at HT, ``This game is won, take it easy we have another game Tuesday we don`t want to be tired for that.`` Pure speculation by myself inspired by Leicester`s excuse of lack of rotation options in their recent loss at Plymouth in my local paper.

She cited the Plymouth model as one to follow.
However they had a season of consolidation. Then missed the play offs on the last day, followed by the title the season after.
Missing out either strengthens the resolve for the next season or needs a while to dwell on what might have been, Will be interesting to see how Mansfield cope in L1 next season, a point on Tuesday will be enough to get there.

Did she set a timescale for the Championship? Was it for the infrastructure? How are the players to be funded before the Academy is in full production? The thing that still gets me to the core is Carol's statement of "Championship Ready".
What this does is set expectation. This get's people excited with confidence that the club that they love is finally being being run with passion, strategy and a clear vision for progression.
Then comes reality, a lie, broken promises and disappointment.
The worse thing you can do in a business is over promise and under deliver, which Carol has done. My trust in the Vision, Process and Leadership of the club I have supported for over 40 years has now gone.
If you are unable to run a successful business delivering customer satisfaction then please hand it over to somebody that can. UTV.

Was it a choice between a scoreboard and a player? The scoreboard will obviously last longer than a player and bring advertising revenue in as well as performing an informative function.Ok pal. I loved Darrel Clarke and Micky Adams. Was also a fan of Bruno (wrongly so) Moore, I was very happy with the appointment and been bitterly disappointed. Sets the team up fine but his in game management just seems all over the place
Do you still think we made the right choice investing in the scoreboard over the team?

Mansfield look like joining them as well.Lost probably 5000 away fans today with Stockport and Wrexham coming up. Wednesday look like going down now too.
Harrogate Accrington Salford Crawley etc. Oh dear oh dear. We'll lose over a million quid with relegation.

Supporter owned recently updated their training ground at a cost of £3M.Makes you wonder how losing Nombe and Brown hasn't harmed Exeter. They were playing poorly when we beat them. But have stayed up comfortably.
Maybe these are the yardstick not Plymouth as Carol said .

Only the club can say, I would think they would be mainly match day staff. Are we doing more in-house?It's the 30% increase in numbers from the previous year that's the truly amazing figure. Where have they all been deployed?

That is the target, not the situation. With our gates more difficult in L1 than L2.So much for being self sustainable.

Posh squad quoted as £40M, no wonder we struggled. If we emulated Rotherham and Peterborough I would be ecstatic.

Why aren't the FA doing something about this. If every team is losing millions chasing success while the Prem makes billions then something is seriously wrong with football. When the likes of Man City can buy a 100 players for the youth policy of which most will be cast aside instead of being blooded at a lower level, it smacks of pure greed. Football is shot, it is an awful industry.
Dont think the FA can do much with the Prem, it would take an Independent authority/ Govt to limit player wages, maybe UEFA. Foreign owners, and International TV money rule the roost. Maybe some form of taxation to divert money to lower leagues.

Both leagues play 12 x 46 = 552 games plus 5 POs.How can League One have less games than League Two when both have the same amount of teams? Odd one!
the statement mentions ifollow ceasing domestic streaming which makes me wonder if the international streaming will remain?

Yes, but I think they said they would decide the first half of the season fairly quickly. What I will miss are the extended highlights Sunday morning on the present system.Does it also mean fewer Saturday 3pm kick offs too and the annoyance of not being able to book trains and or hotels so far in advance?

They produce a lot more players than we do. They make a lot more out of player sales than we do. £70M over the last 20 years. Debt can be on infrastructure, borrowing money to buy players is a risky business. Staying in the Champ is not easy, only Ipswich are safe in their first season back. Nor is staying in L1 easy either.Peterborough are only £5 million more in debt than we are, but guess what? If they get to the champ they will pay that off while ours will increase or worse in LG2.
It pays to spend money on a good squad.

Or preparing for next season? Emergency back up for this season?Apparently so, would be mental bringing someone in for the last 4 games of the season if they weren’t upto speed

Better training facilities with dome. Their manager praised their recovery system after their Sunday game.im at that point of not wanting to watch this team anymore. the gulf between vale and pboro is embarrassing and depressing at the same time. and theyre not bigger a club than vale. just better run by people who know what theyre doing.
the season cant end fast enough and the thought of watching this lot next season regardless which division we are in is an even more horrific prospect.

I think Denis Law had the edge. Barry had a few league games with other teams , but most games were in non- league. Probably the oldest DoF at 79.Fosse, I saw Fry at a gents evening. I didn’t know until that evening but when he started playing football he was at MUFC

Their DoF Barry Fry .must have been at Posh for 20 years or more.Alan, Darren Ferguson is in his fourth term as their manager. I wouldn’t want any of our previous managers back a second time never mind four times.

Ahhhhh, but you are forgetting our returning agent of chaos - three questions need to be answered
Does Uche know what he is going to do
Does the opposition know what Uche is going to do
Does anyone know what Uche is going to do
Three NO answers = the X factor
I vote no to each of the above 😍😍😍😍😍
I appreciate that Uche creates chaos but Dipepa is our best chance of increasing our goal scoring.

Defence tightened in March. April is reliant on improving attack contribution. I can only see that from Dipepa. As each game gets ticked off its clear that this will go right to the wire. !
Burton look really poor, Cheltenham do have an easier run in and the bookies still have us finishing in the bottom 4.
Only 3 weeks to go.....

Not really. I stopped going to away games, and I made an exception for Wembley. Those were the days. There's too much entitlement now where people sit. They expect everyone to just do the same and clap. No passion or emotion.
