  1. Not hopeful, there was no Government action after the 2018 revelations.
  2. Currently involved, National Crime Agency, H&S Executive, Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (a quango of the Home Office). Small Factories with no unions to listen to whistle-blowers.
  3. Obviously little idea of what goes on in Leicester, or any other council stripped of money and staff over the last 10 years.
  4. Colloquially known as a dead cat or squirrel. rather a lot about.
  5. He will probably declare himself Supreme President. Vamos you dudes.
  6. The State of Testing https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/jul/09/councils-data-covid-19-sidelined-centralisation-private-sector-england
  7. Of course, he was testing them whether they were "On message" or not, not that he had forgot the "Message"
  8. You forgot Leicester voted Remain, and there are no Tory councillors. Lockdown is due to lack of cohesion between a centrally dominated testing system and local knowledge.
  9. Are protests possible in the tightened lockdown in Leicester? Corona 19 inspections proceeding, no closures up to now, but with 1000 plus manufacturers maybe a lot to do. Most of the problems are longstanding but not necessarily wide-spread, There has been a task force running since 2018 comprising of HMRC, Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA), Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate (EAS) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) ,
  10. I assume they are sleeping it off, Tory Market Harborough had a Section 34 dispersal order last night, so something similar?
  11. Read an interview with a 23 year old this morning, reason he was getting sloshed and mingling " Could be dead tomorrow". More the blitz spirit than Jojhnson`s celebration of victory over an enemy.
  12. I thought he was in the US with the orange one
  13. The clown prince !! Just a puppet on a string.
  14. "Them" is the opposite to "us", we are still about.
  15. Doubt it, they will just change or ignore the rules.
  16. The current government are guided by their sponsors and Cummings
  17. Workplace outbreaks doubled over the last week.
  18. Cummings and goings is OK for some
  19. Where is Cyprus apart from in the Med?
  20. Like saying the Vale don`t score many goals because the opposing defence is too weak.
  21. Poverty and cramped living conditions obviously are factors. A higher proportion of workers will have jobs that cannot be done at home., so more interaction., shown by increase in cases mainly under 40s, over 65s flat
  22. I know nothing about Bradford in that respect. Leicester`s sources are now thought to be mainly from food factories rather than textile ones, and possibly the opening of a 100 schools early June.
  23. Unbelievable indeed. Hancock signed the contract with Deloitte the company organising the testing data , but did not include the instruction to pass the data onto the LAs or PH England. No wonder they were in the dark.
  24. Expectations of a New Years Eve demand on the Police and NHS
