I dont think there is one ounce of team unity. Truly awful. I would be dropping Smith and Ripley from the squad entirely. All they do is argue with one another, and it is constant. As soon as something goes wrong no matter who the culprit they cant wait to turn around and gob off at each other. Pair of cokwombles. There is not a chance on earth Ripley passed the so called DH test.

Jones is also all too keen to gob off and wave his arms at others, when one of his aimless passes has gone astray.

Football is just coronation street for a predominantly male audience

Vale need fewer Mavis Rileys and more Percy Sugdens!

(....not watched it in a while! 😆)

It's just that we see it because we are at the games and on this forum.

The irony is that, some of those that love to shift the blame onto the fans don't seem to attend (m)any games themselves, whereas the people that they are slagging off are actually at the games, week after week.

No need to. She'll be at his beck-and-call, waiting on him hand and foot with tea and biscuits, and cheering him and his Virtual Vale team on with her pom-pom scarf being twirled like f*@k!

....while he repeats over and over again...."look into my eyes, don't look around the eyes, look into the eyes - and Trust My Process"!!!

1-0. Loft scores, threaded through expertly by Jason Lowe. Tom Sang has diligently held down the right flank.

Flitcroft punches the air in vindication - that’ll shut the fans up!- before turning off Football Manager and shutting the laptop.

Another good day at the office. He must tell Carol.

  6. Seems that the Shanahans will still be involved with Synectics, according to this statement, taken from The Sentinel article on the deal -

in a statement, a spokesman said: "Synectics Solutions is delighted to announce that it has agreed terms with leading investor Synova to provide growth capital to support Synectics’ evolution and expansion; in partnership with the Shanahan family. The transaction will allow Synectics to further its growth by increasing its investment into its products, services and people.

"The Shanahan family will continue to be materially involved and invested in the business, whilst benefiting from a supportive partner in Synova. The transaction is still subject to regulatory approval and further comment will be provided in due course."

  7. The OP used to be a bit of a comedy poster, going on about hammers and the like, and coming out with funny lines about the state of Vale.

For some reason he's now trying to turn into a serious commentator, but just comes across as an utterly clueless joke of a poster, and is not in the least bit funny.

    Bring back the hammers! 😆

I worked out last night we've only won 2 tuesday night league games since the promotion season, which is a bit of a poor do. Plymouth A and Blackpool H. We've only won 4 in total in the last 2 calender years.

Plymouth was a Friday night? (moved due to the World Cup being on)

[Edit]....just realised that Blackpool was also a Friday!

Does that mean Salford away (April 2022!) was the last Tuesday night win?

Which flies in the face of what they tell us with every player reveal !

Oh Joe bloggs is a wonderful character and fits the club ethos. Blah blah blah.

"and possesses the non-negotiable personal qualities that we demand at the football club..." etc

Every time we have signed a player and I read the announcement about it on the official site I just think what is this b0ll0cks, as its full of utterly meaningless bilge, such as the line above.

I don't we ever had a chance of signing him anyway to be honest,it was pie in the sky his wages would have been a massive stumbling block.

The Derby Telegraph states that Vale and Charlton were also keen on him, and Derby's manager Warne said on Saturday that 2 other clubs were also trying to sign him.

Newcastle had Liverpool over massively with the ludicrous fee for Carroll. May as well of donned a mask and rode of into the sunset with the booty.  Pure robbery.

Although Liverpool were daft enough to pay it.

Indeed, but the Torres money was burning a hole in their pockets, and on the same day they did spend the rest of it wisely on Count Suarez. 🧛‍♂️
