Not likely to sign many players in May

    Yeah, and...?!

The release of the retained list (/transfer listing players) will be a signal of the club's intentions of clearing out as much of this dross squad as possible, so if they want to maximise selling season tickets its pretty bleedin' obvious that they should be doing this very soon after the season, and certainly before the end of May! 🥴

The sad thing is it was so easily avoidable.  The near miss of last season should’ve been enough of a kick up the backside for the powers that be to see what was needed, but no, some deluded footballing genius decided he had a master plan, we were suddenly going to play football in the style of Man City, but then he forgot to recruit the players to do so.

Yeah, but he went in for Doku, Foden and Bernardo Silva, so he was trying! (.....VERY trying 🤣)

Wow. A gutless away performance by a side that was dismantled the following summer and you held that grudge against all the other Vale sides after that day, even the one that put in some great away performances on the way to promotion. That's some grudge.

Assume he meant Fleetwood away this season.

When, I think of Patrick. He reminds me of the character Mike Teevee, from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. With his besotted mother.

Funnily enough, Smurthwaite always reminded me of a combination of Augustus Gloop with the traits of Veruca Salt thrown in!

The Sun also thinks based on their recent articles that Robbie is going to buy the club and Patrick Shanahan has turned Vale into a powerhouse for developing youth players

...and a Wendy House for the other players!

It was lousy defending... They stood off him. Any Sunday league defender would d have put a boot on the ball!

Rubbish. I say the same about Maradonna's 'goal of the century' against England. Cooper, Fenwick, Butcher all stood off, frightened to tackle.

    Who's Cooper?

Terry? Not surprised he stood off as his England career finished over 10 years beforehand! 😆

I’ve said this before but she’s lost in power and fame.

She walked into our club as Elizabeth from Keeping Up Appearances.

    Shes morphed into Hyacinth.

At least we're consistent with the comedy, as Smurthwaite was like Onslow!

I dont think there is one ounce of team unity. Truly awful. I would be dropping Smith and Ripley from the squad entirely. All they do is argue with one another, and it is constant. As soon as something goes wrong no matter who the culprit they cant wait to turn around and gob off at each other. Pair of cokwombles. There is not a chance on earth Ripley passed the so called DH test.

Jones is also all too keen to gob off and wave his arms at others, when one of his aimless passes has gone astray.
