At least we're consistent with the comedy, as Smurthwaite was like Onslow!

Bigger, stronger, fitter this season! 🙄 -
Jones is also all too keen to gob off and wave his arms at others, when one of his aimless passes has gone astray.

Would be a better option, although leaving our revival until after Easter Sunday might be too late!

Just typical of the ineptitude and incompetence at the club...........it should obviously be "Dave and I" "Dave and I" "Dave and I" ! -

It's injured(/in the garage) for 2 weeks! -
Vale need fewer Mavis Rileys and more Percy Sugdens! (....not watched it in a while! 😆)

The irony is that, some of those that love to shift the blame onto the fans don't seem to attend (m)any games themselves, whereas the people that they are slagging off are actually at the games, week after week.

No need to. She'll be at his beck-and-call, waiting on him hand and foot with tea and biscuits, and cheering him and his Virtual Vale team on with her pom-pom scarf being twirled like f*@k! -
Seems that the Shanahans will still be involved with Synectics, according to this statement, taken from The Sentinel article on the deal - in a statement, a spokesman said: "Synectics Solutions is delighted to announce that it has agreed terms with leading investor Synova to provide growth capital to support Synectics’ evolution and expansion; in partnership with the Shanahan family. The transaction will allow Synectics to further its growth by increasing its investment into its products, services and people. "The Shanahan family will continue to be materially involved and invested in the business, whilst benefiting from a supportive partner in Synova. The transaction is still subject to regulatory approval and further comment will be provided in due course."

He knows it too. During the second half he looked proper demoralised, with shoulders slumped. Lopata went over to him and had to gee him up. -

Is that one of Nostradamus' predictions?! -
The OP used to be a bit of a comedy poster, going on about hammers and the like, and coming out with funny lines about the state of Vale. For some reason he's now trying to turn into a serious commentator, but just comes across as an utterly clueless joke of a poster, and is not in the least bit funny. Bring back the hammers! 😆

An Open Letter from Carol
The Kalamazoo Kid replied to Brighton Valiant's topic in Port Vale present
Alarm bells rang for me back in October when she was reportedly upset/angry at booing following the Cheltenham game. (.....actually, alarm bells completely deafened me back in May, when they gave the manager's job to an utter incompetent, who wouldn't have made the shortlist at any other League 1 club, but somehow "deserved" a go at the job) Seemed to me then that she had lost sight that she was the owner of Port Vale FOOTBALL Club, and that the third word of that title is what it is all about - rather than whether "John" (Askey) or "Andy" (Crosby) or "Flicker" are nice guys, and shouldn't be subjected to any criticism. It seems that her 'business' head, and concentrating on the £ savings from the bottom line, has overruled her 'supporter' head, meaning that she can't (or won't) see the complete car-crash that Flitcroft's transfer windows have caused.- 929 replies

Plymouth was a Friday night? (moved due to the World Cup being on) [Edit]....just realised that Blackpool was also a Friday! Does that mean Salford away (April 2022!) was the last Tuesday night win? -
Torquay United just makes me think of Vale being on Match Of The Day in 1983, when we won a night match there late on in the promotion season!

"and possesses the non-negotiable personal qualities that we demand at the football club..." etc Every time we have signed a player and I read the announcement about it on the official site I just think what is this b0ll0cks, as its full of utterly meaningless bilge, such as the line above. -

Created after David Batty missed the decisive penalty in England's 98 World Cup defeat to the Argies!
