EFL Community Project of the Season - 2024

Might as well change our name to Port Vale Community Club - PVCC ...drop the 'F' as it clearly counts for nothing - 'F All', in fact! -

He's not only let himself down, he's let The Wirral down! -

Typically, I was on holiday for 'the 1'.....but endured the other sodding 10! (yeah, I know - Jonah, its been going on for 44 years - and counting - now!) -
Yep, a complete and utter Wonka!

Funnily enough, Smurthwaite always reminded me of a combination of Augustus Gloop with the traits of Veruca Salt thrown in!

Are Exeter 'experimenting' much - I wouldn't know if many of their team are regulars or not. -
...and a Wendy House for the other players!

Rubbish. I say the same about Maradonna's 'goal of the century' against England. Cooper, Fenwick, Butcher all stood off, frightened to tackle. Who's Cooper? Terry? Not surprised he stood off as his England career finished over 10 years beforehand! 😆 -

At least we're consistent with the comedy, as Smurthwaite was like Onslow!

Bigger, stronger, fitter this season! 🙄 -
Jones is also all too keen to gob off and wave his arms at others, when one of his aimless passes has gone astray.

Would be a better option, although leaving our revival until after Easter Sunday might be too late!

Just typical of the ineptitude and incompetence at the club...........it should obviously be "Dave and I" "Dave and I" "Dave and I" ! -

It's injured(/in the garage) for 2 weeks! -
Vale need fewer Mavis Rileys and more Percy Sugdens! (....not watched it in a while! 😆)

The irony is that, some of those that love to shift the blame onto the fans don't seem to attend (m)any games themselves, whereas the people that they are slagging off are actually at the games, week after week.

No need to. She'll be at his beck-and-call, waiting on him hand and foot with tea and biscuits, and cheering him and his Virtual Vale team on with her pom-pom scarf being twirled like f*@k! -
Seems that the Shanahans will still be involved with Synectics, according to this statement, taken from The Sentinel article on the deal - in a statement, a spokesman said: "Synectics Solutions is delighted to announce that it has agreed terms with leading investor Synova to provide growth capital to support Synectics’ evolution and expansion; in partnership with the Shanahan family. The transaction will allow Synectics to further its growth by increasing its investment into its products, services and people. "The Shanahan family will continue to be materially involved and invested in the business, whilst benefiting from a supportive partner in Synova. The transaction is still subject to regulatory approval and further comment will be provided in due course."

He knows it too. During the second half he looked proper demoralised, with shoulders slumped. Lopata went over to him and had to gee him up.
