  1. You might have seen the advert Vale out put today re: playing on the Vale Park pitch. It's a lot of money (£1,200 + VAT) but between two teams of 11 - 15 players each it's maybe £50 each. I've been in contact with the club about booking a session (a 6pm one after work for most people) and am at the stage of hopefully agreeing. However... before I do, who would be up for it? No definites needed yet, just want to see if there's enough interest so I'm not massively out of pocket 😬 Also that no one else has had the same idea and doing the same thing! Cheers! UTV
  2. Ojo's performance was not the reason we lost. Not even close to being a small part of it. He's head and shoulders above some of the players on that pitch yesterday, he must be looking around and regretting signing an extension.
  3. They have. Not sure whether it was social media or somewhere else but I've seen an official announcement that he's left.
  4. If we're willing to spend the money on a manager like Darren Moore, I don't understand why we weren't willing to spend the money on a striker at the start of the season. The net effect is exactly the same.
  5. Tom Sang absolutely gifting that goal. He's not a full back, even Adam Yates on iFollow suggesting that he's a defensive liability.
  6. This is garbage. Ojo is perhaps a bright spark bit far too little.
  7. From the forum on Thursday I don't think anyone at the club is considering relegation. No permanent signings this window, no striker, but hey, we have a decent restaurant and youth team. Make no mistake, we're in a relegation scrap.
  8. Cheated out of it but we've put ourselves in the position where they can do that. Far too complacent and sat off them, plus Connor Grant should never have made the challenge, what a tit. Poor game from too many to deserve anything even if it felt like we were going to get a point.
  9. I'm still here Woody, thanks for the compliment! Don't spend as much time here as I used to, how are you? Remember signing up to OVF when I was at uni in the Computer Science labs, so that would have been some point between 1998 - 2002... when was OVF first set up? Gutted that it says I've only got 600 posts, must be in the tens of thousands over the years Rob!
  10. Had a good look at Dan Gore on YouTube. He's undoubtedly got quick feet and likes to glide past players. Could be very special. My concern is that he holds onto it too long - although he'll soon learn when he gets smashed by an 18 stone League One centre half.
  11. Those slating Uche must be sandwich short of a picnic. He came to us after not playing for 8 months, no surprise at all that he took a while to get fit and his first appearances weren't top drawer. Now he's nearing fitness (not even 100% yet I don't think) he's terrifying defences, we're scoring more than at any other point in the season and other clubs are sniffing around trying to prise him away. All of that of course points to him being crap!
  12. The EFL will look at this and decide an appropriate action. There is zero chance that we'll be given a point each, that would set a very dangerous precendent. It's evens for me whether we get given the points and a 3-0 win or we have to replay it behind closed doors. What IS virtually certain is that Reading are looking at a pretty serious punishment, a points deduction that would dwarf what they've got so far or even being made to play further games behind closed doors.
  13. iFollow images stopped now, just says experiencing technical difficulties. Still got the Radio Stoke commentary.
  14. Pete Wild is a good shout, but would he take direction on formation and recruitment from Flickers? That's the issue, we're more likely to end up with Dunn as manager.
