  1. And, based on my very minimal Googling, no serious injury record!
  2. He's done well at Swindon, you'd think more teams than us and Exeter would be keen, especially at 22 year old
  3. Liam McCarron joins the Vale on loan | News | Port Vale WWW.PORT-VALE.CO.UK Signed summer deadline day
  4. It was in the sentinel in the week I think.
  5. Perhaps I should have said McCarron instead, he was deadline day wasn't he?
  6. I know, yet to play a minute yet. He was more an illustration that this point that "fast business is bad business" that gets banded around on here every transfer window is rubbish. We wait an age most windows and seem to end up with tripe most times.
  7. Spot on RZ. Look how well last summer and January went when we waited till the last knockings to "maximise the value available". I wonder what Matty Taylor or Mipo are up too these days.
  8. Just a moment... WWW.SUNDERLANDECHO.COM Doesn't sound like much has changed for Denver Hume. He's looking to move on in Jan.
  9. Denver Hume was on the radar in summer wasn't he? Didn't Alan Nixon link him to us? Edit - from Sept Town reportedly battling Vale for Portsmouth defender WWW.SWINDONADVERTISER.CO.UK
  10. Emmanuel compared to Massey and Grant is absolutely night and day. Missed out big time overlooking him.
  11. Yeah I saw that on her Instagram. Conlon just became a dad too, maybe baby brain has fried them both.
  12. I think Crosby's answer to Mike baggleys question after the game all but confirms the Cass and Conlon are in their way out
  13. A new defence, new wingbacks, an arblaster replacement and a new strike force and we should be good to go. Thank God we had such a good summer.
  14. Arblaster going back is a huge loss to our survival hopes.
  15. Where's this come from, can't see anything on vale or Sheffield twitter
  16. All subjective as you say, I wouldn't have Thomas politic or Leutwiler near the good column. Pretty fair list though! 43% success rate of signings based on your list, 37% on mine.
  17. I'd say the rest fall into three categories, crap, injury prone, or crap and injury prone. Some have done OK in spells and been shocking in others (Yaks probably the prime example of this). That doesn't say to me good signing.
  18. Either take them both out or leave them both in if you're doing that. Don't just do whichever one suits your argument the best.
  19. How have you taken one player out and gotten to 14? I'd very much count Wilson considering our DoF and manager binned him then had to have him back when they couldn't replace him. In this video (8 mins in) Clarke tells DF that we need to be aiming for 75% success. We've never even got close since we got to L1.
  20. Ripley, Leutwiler, Yak, Lowe, Deborah, Sang, Grant, Clark, Balmer, Devine, Arblaster, Loft, Uche, Thomas, Chislett and Wilson (after releasing him). I'd say Ripley, Jesse, Sang, Devine, Arblaster and Chizzy have been good. So 6 out of 16, or 37.5% success rate.
  21. Thank god you said Cheltenham, I've been trying to figure out who 'nam are for half an hour[emoji28]
  22. Interesting that there's been no football fans forum for a while.
