  1. I went. I tell you what, when I got to the ground I actually felt positive. Not for the game, but for the fact that we have got great fans really. We can give ourselves a raw deal sometimes, slag each other off for being negative same for happy clapping etc. But to take the numbers we did yesterday (and consistently take everywhere really) on the run we're on, with the team we've got, to a fixture where the result was a formality and the club in the state its in was pretty bloody impressive. All the usual songs were out and everyone was behind the team from then pretty much until the second goal went in. The clubs bigger than anything we've got sitting in the office upstairs. It's imperative he goes sooner rather than later or I genuinely fear we could be the best supported club in the national league. But to answer your question Darren mate, I didn't notice anybody clapping. I left pretty sharpish on the full-time whistle and used the facilities before exiting. All I heard were boos, you're not fit to wear the shirt and David flitcroft get out of our club (which I wholeheartedly joined in with). Each to their own, but how even the happiest of clappers could clap that yesterday i cannot comprehend.
  2. Oh yeah, you're right , that's bad that is. Can't believe it!
  3. Big Darren I assume? Reckon he'll be here next season? I think he ought to be, I've seem nothing so far that's made me think we're proper lucky to have him. No bounce and I actually think we're worse now. His contract will also have more clauses than lapland I bet.
  4. Yes I'm as pissed off as anyone right now, genuinely am. But I could never say I'm not going because it's <ovf censored>. That's not why I'm in it.
  5. Saint David said of Lowe on the Ale And Vale podcast he did that it was such a wonderful opportunity for youngsters to come into work everyday and see how a real pro like Jason Lowe behaves. Not only on the pitch but the way he prepares for games and conducts himself. <ovf censored> me, he's <ovf censored>.
  6. Us and Carlisle were in for him Couldn't get in Salfords team Says everything a dof who's been in football all his life and knows his onions needs to know
  7. As much as I like Ripley, I don't think he commands his box much and that is something I did think we'd get from him. There's been a few goals like that this season (stevenage I can think of) where an inswinging corner on top of him susses him out. That said, I hope he's here next season.
  8. Its pretty the same thing on repeat for me. Awful recruitment and we've been left with a poor team. It's that simple. We had two potential future England internationals before Christmas who really did show great quality. And we still only won 8 games with them! Take them out and don't strengthen at all and, we'll, it's so easy to see isn't it? I thought we looked fairly comfortable until Debra's error and that really did kill us. In fact we nearly lost the game. I'm putting some of that on DM last night though. Our second halves (discounting Lincoln maybe because we were losing), we haven't come out of our own half under him. Cheltenham we scored but that was literally our only attack in the second 45. Reading started OK, looked like a possible point but second half just tried soak it up and hold on. Fleetwood last night same, half decent first half and then that. Two late goals in each of those three games. We haven't got the confidence to keep teams out like that. Then again we've nothing to keep the ball up top. Cheers Flicker
  9. Carol, you're as much to blame as your beloved Flicker. He's destroying (if he hasn't already destroyed) the club and you're allowing it. That to me is just as unforgivable. Valeforever got it spot on in everyway, because you are definitely leaving a legacy.
  10. Best news I've heard all day We need a proper tare up!
  11. But we'll be alright, no idea how I know but I just know we will! Darren and his boys needed three games and watch us go now!
  12. She hasn't GOT to put any of that into the Vale though. Maybe DM was sold a very impressive future? I haven't got a,clue what to think!
  13. I loved a girl once Most beautiful thing I ever saw Wanner to be though
  14. No mate, not one iota of confidence in that idiot
  15. Not taken it seriously since promotion and we are done now. Deservedly. No confidence, no fight (garritty aside) and it's a league Two rebuild next year. Saint David desperately needs <ovf censored> off.
  16. On the Undr The Cosh podcast, i am yet to hear a positive comment from any player about Flitcroft. Word gets around.
  17. Pssst, between you and me, that ain't Osh.
  18. I'll be renewing. I'm absolutely disgusted and disillusioned with how we're being run. That's for the last two seasons. Promotion was meant to be so much more than this. It was a dream for years and since it happened I've enjoyed about 5 months worth of football. I just can't believe it in all honesty, weird feeling. I couldn't not go though, they've got me. I still love the Vale, just not the incumbents.
  19. Go and report back to mummy Tell her what an idiot she's making of herself
  20. Carol, I never, ever thought I'd find myself saying this but if you don't start to see David Flitcroft for what he is, Port Vale could well die on your watch. That could end up being your legacy. The team that got us up was a much better side than this. We've played two seasons at league one level with a side much inferior to our league Two team. Have we even taken it <ovf censored> seriously since we got promoted? Ripley, Ojo, Devine and Arblaster are the only players we've signed that would've gotten a shirt in that squad since we came up. And two of those only played 6 months, not being our players. That is David Flitcrofts fault. He is the director of football. He puts the squad together. I don't blame most of the players. It's ability and numbers (lack of both) that have us where we are now. I cannot believe the optimism I had for the Vale when you took over. The joy brought by the promotion (the 4th in the 35 years I've been following the Vale. The wave that created and have we ridden that wave? Have we capitalised one bit on that? Christ no!!! Instead you've allowed that absolute pillock to turn us in to a soulless training ground for top tier loan signings. Brilliant, thats Port Vale to you is it? I honestly believe that you do not give one stuff about actual supporters. Your actions are saying just that in not just keeping faith with that utter madman, but actually lording him up to the supporters. Telling us off for daring to become disillusioned at his apparent long termism. Long term? Jesus!!! We're back to whence we came next season. Its absolute failure and the most infuriating part is that it was so, so avoidable. I feel absolutely pig sick.
  21. He ain't happy Not many are But we've got try and get behind the team to get some points
