Former Port Vale player and agent Phil Sproson has told BBC Radio Stoke that Port Vale have made a permanent offer for loan midfielder Jake Taylor.
Taylor has been a resounding success this season and with the 21 year-old out of contract in the summer, the Valiants are keen to retain his services.
The signing of Taylor would be a major signal of intent from owners Carol and Kevin Shanahan and would also undoubtedly boost Vale’s hopes of sneaking into the play-off places.
