All loan deals have mid-season recall clauses as standard. Or are we expecting Premier League clubs to go "League Two Port Vale say they won't take out future captain on loan unless we remove the clause allows us to recall him after five months, better do as they say"? The only way to ensure loan deals last an entire season is for the player to do well enough to play every week, but not well enough to warrant a move to a club in a higher division. That was nearly the case with Devine, but unfortunately Plymouth took a punt on him in January.

One of the very few highlights of our season was seeing Ollie in a Vale shirt, having such a tremendous influence on games. Undoubtedly our player of the season!

He’s going to be disappointed come the end of next season 😂 I think top 10 would be realistic or a comfortable mid table finish the first season back after a relegation. Obviously a lot will rely on the summer business or lack of in our case, but there’s some decent teams in that league & it’s not going to be easy getting back up. Will take a few years at least for me. Yes there is some poor teams in league 2 but i don’t think it’s half as bad as some make out.

I think Garrity deserves a massive round of applause from the fans, need to sing his song throughout and at the end of the match.

On the end of game boo them off stuff. I would say that the players are essentially not good enough overall, but a few are and can play at L1 level therefore being very good at L2 level. Players have got demoralised on occasions and that can appear like insufficient effort. Those players that are good enough and can contribute in future by being on the retained list should not be put off staying by a bad end of season scene. I hope the end of season is just the whimper it deserves.

Can't see any toxic scenes Warren. Get the feeling people are apathetic. Just shrug of the shoulders, stroll off in silence and come back in August. It's gone now, emphatically so ( we end up nowhere near survival), people have accepted it. Might be a few stand up if you love the Vale and other rallying chants or played in a morgue as yet another team celebrate on our patch.

If it was up to Vale fans, our team next season should be: Manager: Andy Crosby DOF: Tom Pope First team Squad would include: James Wilson, Uche Ikpeazu, David Worrell, Ellis Harrison, Kian Harratt, Matty Taylor And the rest of squad just made up of players that we have tried to sign for the past couple of seasons

Haha yeah he did say the same but different people. To be honest Uches inability to not be completely blowing after an hour has really irritated me a while. Just on the actual topic I do think as part of the package the club could look at maybe bringing back the 10 game flexi-ticket or whatever it used to be called. Just don’t have it allocated to a seat (which was the main issue before) but use it to select a vacant one up to 10 games.

Your a top fan Dicko and them lot are the heart of the club . Yourself included . I can see why you stopped going . I'm.the same generally I miss a lot of games at home as away with wife enjoying life . However even when away my hearts with Vale Always will be Carol you better sort your staff out . I don't want to see another season like this again . I'll change my mind a 1000 times till new season at present I'm DONE but I change by the hour as I'm mental and I admit that. I hold my hands up . Haven't been able to face it. Missed 6 of last 7 homes. A couple due to health reasons the rest by choice. Reckon I've spent 2 grand this season ( my choice ). Reading alone was 150 quid for 16 minutes. I drove to Portsmouth, Oxford . The home games have killed me. Simply appalling. Anyone insinuating the likes of me and others aren't " real " fans need to wind their neck in. It was actually affecting my whole weekend watching the crap served up. I'd paid my season ticket money. The club lost nothing by my absence. Nobody is in a place to judge another person as they don't know their situation.

I would expect given how everyone was saying what a well run club we were and how lucky we are to have such an amazing owner, we should expect promotion. Anything less would make Carol look a bit crap really.
