  1. Past hour
  2. That is what the FA Cup is all about, 99% of the teams don't expect to win it. Just the odd big game to treasure.
  3. Doing poorly with a bad hand is a good way of putting it. You either believe that his relative success at WBA, Doncaster, and Sheff Weds was all a big fluke, or he’s got something about him.
  4. Sadly Fosse all irrelevant to the greedy Premier boys. They aren't bothered by Alfreton Town holding Derby to a draw and playing in front of a big crowd and TV money. They are just a self entitled bunch of moaning Minnie's
  5. Sky have basically screwed the fans who can't get to the home and away games and listen to ifollow commentary. Some of us can't afford sky or the extra subscribe channels on offer. EFL just want the money and don't care about the fans. Thank you Sky and EFL
  6. So the smaller clubs suffer again !! Premier don't even come into it till the 3rd round but they get there own way again it sad.
  7. We can all pick different starting 11's and the one thing in common they will all have is that they are simply not good enough at this level, from front to back. It's a crying shame. Go back to the beginning of the season when a home win (against Burton?) would have put us top, and we genuinely had a strong, exciting 11. Arbaster and Devine pulling the strings. We all dreamed that Wilson could stay fit and show the player many still seem to think he could be. We had Thomas up top who offered something different. We've gone from being hopeful to completely abject, all because of one ladies faith in a complete and utter chancer, and a January transfer window straight from the depths of hell.
  8. Definitely not his fault alone. But if he sticks around, the jury will really be out on him next season. So far he's only shown us exactly the type of person and manager the Huddersfield fanbase were warning us we were getting.
  9. Cheltenham are as bad us, Burton and Fleetwood. At the season’s end a team will stay up with 43 or 44 points. Thats the fact that hurts, just another couple of points or so and we could have survived. Its possible Burton, Fleetwood and Cheltenham could all finish on 43 points . Even Vale might if we manage to beat Cambridge but that won’t happen !
  10. Like the Country going to the ******* Dogs
  11. The Greed League need more TV slots to cope with the expansion of the various European competitions. What great FA Cup replays we would have missed Sunderland, Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Everton, Arsenal, come to mind straight away and the 3-1 victory in the rain. What about the loss of gate money?
  12. I'm sick of the instability and drama. Now isn't the time for another managerial change. Back the man we have in now. Work hard but quietly without fanfare over the summer and deliver a team the fans can get behind and be proud of. The only reason we're not a complete laughing stock in this city is because the fans of that lot up the road are still nervously looking over their shoulders.
  13. What is happening to our beautiful game 😫
  14. Really sad news. That’s the death of the cup right there. Some of the greatest moments in Vale’s history have been cup replays.
  15. Agree m8 what's the point . You only have to look at body language of defence to see we going lose at Peterborough it was rubbish Couldn't pass the ball didn't win it no tackling ,just tried sit back and hope they got one chance at 3 -0 down 90 +mins Garrity effort whoosh really worth our fans time and effort attending thst beaten before kick a ball . I read online a Peterboro fan saying to a Fleetwood fan after 4-1 win and Fleetwood missing 2 pens how good a watch Fleetwood were I also read there comments on how utterly pitiful and worst team visit them Port Vale . I want see the players have a go for those people who are going think it's just passed a 1000. Ojos best game of season was at back v Lincoln well he is good enough play there be on his own though in my team . Bolton won't see the ball if we have the ball . Get on with listen to VFIA Devine Intervention and me we can turn this round with positivity and playing to win. Not coming out beaten before a balls kicked however did Vale in adversary ever win a game if they did not believe.
  16. And when on the odd occasions they are knocked out in the 3rd round ,you can guarantee on 4th round day they will be in Malaysia or Thailand playing a friendly.
  17. It's no use even bothering because I reckon he's gonna get cold feet anyway
  18. Same here, makes me really angry when things like this happen. Once again it looks like the Premier League are meddling in games that have nothing to do with them. What effect does a round one or two replay have on the Premier League? They aren't even involved at that stage. It's probably all down to the Premier League throwing their toys out of the pram and threatening to reduce payments unless they get their way. It was the same when B sides came into the Football League Trophy. The sooner a regulator comes in and levels the financial playing field so the EFL clubs aren't so cash-strapped and can stand up to these bullyboy tactics, the better. Oh, and while they're at it - how are the Premier League getting on with the 100-odd financial mismanagement charges levelled at Man City from as far back as 2009. Or do only Forest and Everton get docked points nowadays?
  19. Not a good sign when both managers this season were centre backs.
  20. They're just crap - if they were intelligent enough to be match-fixing, they ought to try winning a few quid by winning some games 🙂
  21. Death of football. Top 6 sides get what they want again. Horrible decision.
  22. Today
  23. bast***s at the FA useless
  24. I was reminded of this last night. I wish I wasn't. Lowe should never have played again for PVFC just for this.
