Former Valiants round-up – transfer news involving Hugill, Mills and Gibbons

A brief round-up of transfer news involving three former Port Vale players.

Hugill joins Hartlepool Utd

Former Port Vale striker Jordan Hugill has agreed a deal with Hartlepool United after his release from Rotherham United. Hugill earned the Valiants a substantial sell-on fee when he was sold by Preston North End to West Ham back in 2018.

Gibbons moves on to Notts County

Former Port Vale full-back James Gibbons has agreed a deal with Notts County after he departed Cambridge United. Gibbons has agreed a two-year deal.

Zak Mills finds new club

Former Port Vale defender Zak Mills has agreed to join Kings Lynn FC. Mills has recently had a spell at Boston United. He ha a brief spell with the Valiants spanning 21 games in the 2020-21 season.
