Departing Leon Legge leaves Port Vale with “great memories”
Defender Leon Legge has thanked everyone at Port Vale after he departed the Valiants to join League Two side Harrogate Town.
Legge spent three and a half years with the Valiants and became a fans favourite during his spell. He also captained the side as well as earning praise for speaking out about his epilepsy.
The veteran defender made a total of 127 appearances for the club, scoring eight times.
In a social media post, Legge said he wished the club a “very successful” season and would remain “forever” a Valiant.
