“Another injury” – Port Vale manager unveils revised transfer window plans
Port Vale manager Darrell Clarke says he expects to add two more signings during the January transfer window after another addition to his injury list.
The club are expected to name an seventh transfer window signing on Friday but could now make it eight on Monday after another player picked up an injury. Vale’s lengthy injury list includes Jamie Proctor, captain Tom Conlon, Jake Taylor, James Gibbons and Devante Rodney
Clarke told the media that: “Maybe another one coming in, later on Monday as well. It will be seven (players in) with the new signing joining us today and it will be potentially eight because we had another injury yesterday.”
Vale have already brought in Chris Hussey, Connor Hall, Ryan Edmonson, Kian Harratt, Joel Cooper and Tomas Holy.
