Port Vale’s game against Exeter City is postponed
Port Vale’s home match against Exeter City has been postponed, the club has confirmed.
A number of football fixtures have been cancelled in recent hours due to positive COVID-19 tests and the Valiants have unfortunately had to cancel their match for the same reasons.
A club statement said:
Port Vale’s Sky Bet League two fixture versus Exeter City on Saturday, December 18, has been postponed.
The club has informed the EFL that it would be unable to fulfil the fixture at Vale Park due to a number of positive COVID-19 cases in the squad.
Tickets already purchased will be valid for the rearranged date but should any supporters find themselves unable to attend on the rearranged date then please email: [email protected]
We apologise for any disappointment and inconvenience caused to supporters by the postponement but the health of club employees, fans and customers is, of course, paramount.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
