Port Vale’s second round FA Cup tie is not selected for live TV coverage
Port Vale have confirmed that their FA Cup second round tie against Burton Albion will take place at 3pm on Saturday 4th December after television companies opted against a live broadcast of the game.
The Valiants’ tie against League One Burton is likely to be a popular game for Vale’s sizeable travelling support and the club have announced ticket details.
A news release on the official site confirmed:
Match Tickets for our Emirates FA Cup Second Round tie away to Burton Albion will be available from 9am on Wednesday, November 17.
We have been allocated approximately 1,900 tickets for this match and Season Ticket Holders (including Junior Valiants) will be able to purchase one ticket per Season Ticket holder from our ticket office on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please be aware that only around 500 of the tickets that we have been allocated are seated.
Port Vale will not be receiving any additional tickets on top of our initial allocation.
Our ticket office will be extending its opening hours due to the anticipated high demand and be open from 9am to 7pm on both Wednesday, Nov 17 and Thursday, Nov 18.
If there are any tickets remaining, they will go on general sale following our SkyBet League Two Match at home to Hartlepool United on Saturday, November
